Timeform View

Preference is for NOBLE EXHIBIT, who was a promising third on debut at the Curragh last month and looks sure to improve for the step up in trip. Francillon and Dancinginthecity rate the principal dangers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Dancinginthecity might not get things all its own way near the head of affairs but shouldn’t be held back by that alone: The leaders will have to go harder than the predicted pace forecast if the hold-up horses such as Imposing are going to come into things.

Timeform Comments

Clash
Foaled March 7. 22,000 gns yearling, Oasis Dream colt. Brother to 6f winner Rouane and half-brother to 7f/1m winner Rogue Force and 2-y-o 7.4f winner Emily's Eclipse. Wears tongue strap.
Dancinginthecity (IRE)
Promising type who showed plenty of ability when second of 10 in maiden over a longer trip at the Curragh on debut 30 days ago. May well do better.
Don't Go Mad (IRE)
Once-raced gelding. 100/1, last of 15 in maiden at Naas (6f, good to firm) on debut 23 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Best watched.
Epic Arch (USA)
Once-raced gelding. Sixth of 13 in maiden (40/1) at Dundalk (1m) on debut 31 days ago. Likely to need more time.
Forthethrillofit (IRE)
Australia colt. Last of 15 in maiden at Gowran (7f, good to soft, 50/1) on debut 14 days ago, very slowly away. One for the longer term.
Francillon
Posted very promising debut effort when runner-up at Killarney (1m) in July. Couldn't quite match that form at Leopardstown since but must enter calculations here.
Golden Omen (IRE)
Bayside Boy colt who never threatened when ninth of 15 in maiden (14/1) at Cork (1m, good to soft) on debut 16 days ago. Probably one for handicaps down the line.
Imposing (IRE)
Foaled April 1. Wootton Bassett colt. Brother to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Lyneham and half-brother to 9.4f winner Iseult of Ireland. Interesting newcomer.
Jacob B Good
Foaled February 14. 25,000 gns yearling, 85,000 gns 2-y-o, Palace Pier colt. Half-brother to 7f-1¼m winner Victoria Grove and 11.5f/12.4f winner Baltic. Market check advised on debut.
Mickian Thomas (IRE)
Twice-raced colt. 125/1, last of 6 in maiden claimer at Navan (1m, good) 19 days ago. Hard to fancy.
Noble Exhibit (IRE)
Shaped very well on debut when keeping on for third in 16-runner maiden at the Curragh (7f) 24 days ago, the race won by an exciting prospect. Bred to be suited by this longer trip and could be ready to open his account.
Paul Pierre (IRE)
Once-raced colt. Eighth of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (1m, good to soft, 14/1) on debut 17 days ago, not knocked about. Open to improvement.
Romayan (IRE)
Improved on debut form when fair sixth of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (1m, good to soft, 150/1) 17 days ago. Each-way claims.
The Captains Day (IRE)
Went backwards from encouraging debut when seventh of 15 in maiden at Gowran (7f, good to soft) 14 days ago. Others are more convincing.
