Timeform View

A wide-open seller. LADY DUBLIN may prove good enough to defy top weight, with Maximus Meridius second choice ahead of Fern Clyde.

Bigalo traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Lady Dublin
Benefited from the drop back in trip/cheekpieces when winning back-to-back nurseries at Catterick and Thirsk in July. Undone by revised mark since but capable of bouncing back with her sights lowered.
Fern Clyde
Improved to get off the mark in an ordinary maiden at Pontefract (6f) in June. Not in same form since, though latest fourth over an inadequate trip at Musselburgh was a step back in the right direction.
Niewiadoma (IRE)
Overcame inexperience to win novice at Thirsk on debut. However, she has been massively overfaced since and difficult to know how much ability she retains.
Roman Crystal (IRE)
Improved when off the mark at the fifth attempt in Ayr maiden last month but she disappointed on nursery debut at Ripon 2 weeks ago, the easier conditions possibly the issue.
Bigalo
Runner-up on 3 consecutive starts but he proved a let-down in similar event here (7f) next time and this looks a better race.
Maximus Meridius (IRE)
Showed some improvement on nursery debut when third at Chepstow despite shaping as if a return to 6f will suit, so he's probably capable of better still returned to this trip.
Rock Steady Beat (IRE)
Stepped up on his debut effort when second at Carlisle. Big chance on that form but was well below that level on his 2 subsequent starts.
Digresser
Foaled May 6. Ubettabelieveit filly. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner who stayed 1¼m out of useful 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Ventura Mist. Yard 0-12 with 2-y-o newcomers this season.
