A 3-time winner in France, MARTIN'S DENUO made a better fist of things than he had on British debut when second in a small-field handicap chase at Fontwell 9 days ago. In receipt of a handy 4-y-o allowance, he shades preference back at this slightly shorter trip. Top weight Gaelic Rambler ought to be suited by the drop in distance and is feared, whilst Hudson is potentially well handicapped on the pick of his hurdles form.

Lightly-raced maiden who was twice a runner up over fences at around 2m during the spring. Good third on C&D reappearance (shaped okay in void race here thereafter) and he's a player if dispelling a lesser effort over a longer trip at Worcester (23f) 23 days ago.
Mix Of Clover
Unreliable veteran who sprang a surprise having dropped back down to last winning mark when scoring in 6-runner handicap chase at Worcester (2½m) in July. However, somewhat predictably struggled to back that up on the back of a 6 lb rise back over same C&D 23 days ago.
Lady Kara
Thriving over hurdles and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat when completing a hat-trick at Newton Abbot in June (lost place but came back in tremendous style in straight). Has yet to show much aptitude for chasing though, jumping none too fluently back at that venue 3 weeks ago.
Mr Rafiki (IRE)
Made more impact than previously when second of 5 in a Worcester maiden hurdle (23f) in July. That was a thin race however, and he looks stable second string on jockey bookings now making handicap debut over fences.
Sleeping Satellite (IRE)
Positively ridden to win twice over fences last season, latterly accounting for 5 rivals at Catterick in November. Not in same form in trio of starts following a short break at the turn of the year but he's not on a bad mark on his return.
Camarrate (IRE)
Flat-bred gelding who posted a career best when winning 12-runner handicap hurdle at Newcastle (2½m, good) in April but absent since being pulled up at Warwick (21f) a month later. Market best guide now attentions switch to the larger obstacles.
Hudson (FR)
Fair maiden hurdler for Ellmarie Holden in Ireland. Yet to recapture that form for this yard and he failed to build on more promising signs displayed when fourth in a C&D handicap in July when third over this trip at Worcester latest. Still, potentially well handicapped now on pick of hurdles form.
Martin's Denuo (FR)
Completed a hat-trick of chase/hurdles claimers in France for J. Boisnard earlier this summer and stepped up on his yard debut when second of 3 in handicap chase at Fontwell (2¾m, good) 9 days ago. Claims again in receipt of handy 4-y-o allowance.
A Dublin Job (IRE)
Successful first 3 starts over fences for Harry Derham but has struggled for new yard this season, including in a visor last 3 starts, and he was losing his place prior to unseating 2 out at Stratford (23f) 10 days ago. Can only be watched at present.
