Timeform View

SANTERNO looked to have more to offer when ninth in a strong Curragh maiden (form worked out well) last time and can build on it to gain a first win. Nando Royale rates a big threat if shrugging off a lesser effort at Roscommon though, while Cudawudashuda and Hazy Sky appeal as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Lamar River (IRE)
Didn't offer much promise in a pair of maidens in March. Saddle slipped when last of 5 in similar event at Galway (1m, soft) 9 days ago.
Santerno (IRE)
Off 4 months but took a step forward with ninth of 19 in strong maiden at the Curragh (6f, good to firm) 39 days ago. Tongue strap goes on for first time. In excellent hands and a player here with better to come.
Darlene (IRE)
66/1, eleventh of 14 in minor event at the Curragh (7f, good to firm) on debut 39 days ago.
Ferronniere (IRE)
66/1, fourth of 6 in maiden claimer at Navan (1m, good) on debut 21 days ago, not knocked about. This Ten Sovereigns gelding can build on it.
Hazy Sky (IRE)
Foaled March 30. €5,000 yearling, Inns of Court filly. Half-sister to Qatari 5.5f-7f winner Tomorrownevercomes. Dam, 6f winner (including at 2 yrs), half-sister to useful winner up to 6f Kool Henry. A considered newcomer.
Cudawudashuda (IRE)
Space Traveller colt who still looked green when seventh of 9 in minor event at Roscommon (7f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Can do better.
Magma Law
10/1, very slowly away when last of 8 in maiden at Roscommon (7f, good to soft) on debut in May. Blinkered for first time.
Your A Daisy (IRE)
11/2, tenth of 13 in maiden at Navan (6f, good) on debut 12 days ago. May do better over this longer trip.
Nando Royale (IRE)
Good third in 7f maiden at Roscommon in June but beat only one in another maiden there 30 days ago. The clear form pick if back on his A-game.
Razmataz (IRE)
Little impact in 4 runs to date, gelded before coming in last of 6 in nursery at Killarney (1m, good) 27 days ago. Blinkers and tongue strap go on for the first time now.
