Timeform View

A few of these fillies bring potential but it's hard to side against LADY MAGU who scored in great style on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton and can return from a break to complete her hat-trick. Redbud Sixteen could emerge as the main threat to Roger Varian's filly with this step up in trip a likely plus, although Bintknight and Aphrodite Spirit can also play a prominent role.

Timeform Comments

Redbud Sixteen (IRE)
Got off the mark at Salisbury (1¼m) and easily followed up over 11f here later in June. Right back on track after a break with second of 7 in handicap at Salisbury (1¼m, good to soft) 15 days ago, especially as ridden aggressively. Very much one to consider on her first go at this trip.
Miss Tonnerre (IRE)
Winless since her debut but this fairly useful filly got back on track after a 3-month layoff with fourth of 7 in handicap at Haydock (1¼m, good to soft) 15 days ago. Possibilities.
Gloryous (IRE)
Resumed winning ways at Kempton (1½m) in August and backed it up with a solid second of 6 in seller at Goodwood (11f, soft) 19 days ago. Needs considering.
Aphrodite Spirit
Got off the mark in 1¼m novice at Lingfield last September. Solid placed efforts in 3 handicap this summer (first 2 here) and a short-head second of 8 to Gloryous at Kempton (1½m) last time. Can go well again nudged up 1 lb.
Nightsinwhitesatin
Course winner last August. In the frame on all 6 starts (runner-up 4 times) this season, coming in a creditable fourth of 13 at Haydock (1¼m, good to soft) last time. Ought to be thereabouts once more.
Lady Magu
Upwardly-mobile Sea The Moon filly who landed maiden at Ffos Las (1¼m) in June before impressively following up on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton (1½m) in July. Hiked up 8 lb but she has more to offer after a break and merits serious consideration in her hat-trick bid.
Counter Intuitive (IRE)
Frankel filly who looked well on the up when bagging novice at Thirsk and handicap at Newmarket (both over 1½m) this summer. Came in last of 7 at Salisbury (1½m, good) last time but is well worth another chance.
Bintknight
Quickly doubled her tally on handicap bow at Lingfield (1¼m) in August. Not seen to ideal effect under a patient ride when a close fourth of 8 to Gloryous at Kempton (1½m) last time. Remains likely capable of better and not taken lightly here.
Hello Friend (IRE)
Frankel filly made the frame in novices on her first 3 starts before taking a step forward on her handicap debut when beaten a nose in 5-runner event at Newmarket (1¾m, good) last month. Well in the mix with further progress on the cards.
Littlecote
Camelot filly who ended a run of 3 second placings with success in 6-runner novice at Newcastle (1½m) in May. Off since but she remains with potential now going handicapping.
Autumn's Breeze (IRE)
Won twice on the turf course (1m5f/2m) at Lingfield last summer. Only twice raced this season and off since being pulled up over C&D in May. Has something to prove.
Glenna (IRE)
Opened her account at Windsor (11.5f) in June and in good nick since, not enjoying the smoothest of passages when third in handicap at Goodwood (1½m, good) 3 weeks ago. Not out of things.
