Timeform View

IMPULSIVE SPIRIT found the Dick Poole too much on second start but she created a favourable impression when winning on debut and looks up to defying a penalty back down in class. Havana Flash also eases back in grade and is feared most, ahead of Rhodes Runner.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Impulsive Spirit traded at a low of 23.00 and Betfair SP of 31.15 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Impulsive Spirit (IRE)
Ten Sovereigns filly who cost plenty at the breeze-ups for one from this yard and made a successful debut in 8-runner maiden at Chepstow (5f, good) last month. Wasn't up to the Group 3 Dick Poole 2 weeks ago but this is a much more suitable assignment.
Havana Flash (IRE)
Left debut form well behind dropped in grade when second of 6 in 5f novice at Lingfield (good to firm) in June. Didn't look up to listed company a month later but this is easier back over 6f with a tongue tie fitted.
Independent Roze
Offered little in a trio of 6f novice/maidens. Well drawn but unlikely to be good enough to make any use of it.
Mollisha (IRE)
Encouraging third of 14 in novice at Newcastle (6f) on debut 56 days ago, running on. Mixed messages from that form but she can be a factor if building on that.
Novah (IRE)
Foaled March 2. Invincible Spirit filly. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner who stayed 1¼m, half-sister to useful 14.2f winner (stays 17f) Eagle Fang out of useful 11f winner Scatina. Bred for longer trips and looks a longer-term project.
Red Ashley
Foaled March 14. Dream Ahead filly. Half-sister to 5f-6f winner Red Walls. Dam unraced half-sister to smart US 2-y-o 7f winner, third in Kentucky Derby/Preakness Stakes.
Rhodes Runner (IRE)
Fair maiden at up to 7f who put a trio of lesser efforts behind her back at 5f when second at Wolverhampton 12 days ago, running on. Pretty exposed now but a repeat of that will see her bang there.
Trust In Far (IRE)
Has no form in 6 starts to date.
