APPLE'S OF BRESIL could hardly have been more impressive on his chase debut and, already proven when fresh, is taken to follow up en route to better things. Ocastle des Mottes has improved his jumping of late, culminating in a win last time, and he rates as the main danger if producing another clear round. Sky Lord also arrives on the back of a win and can feature if seeing things out as well again.

A bumper and maiden hurdle winner in 2024 who has been seen only twice since but looked a potential graded performer when defying a 12-month absence to make a winning chase debut at Kilbeggan by 10 lengths. Open to further improvement after another break.
Luker's Tipple (IRE)
Quirky sort who belatedly got off the mark over hurdles in a course maiden and then quickly followed that up with a novice win at Sligo. Completed a quick-fire hat-trick on chasing debut at Tramore but could manage only fifth at Downpatrick on Friday.
Ocastle Des Mottes (FR)
Opened his account over fences in a 2¼m maiden at Galway earlier this month, beating Mongibello by 2¾ lengths having again kept mistakes to a minimum. Respected but his jumping will need to hold up again if he is to play a hand in the finish.
Sky Lord
Has tended to finish weakly over fences but made the most of a good opportunity in first-time cheekpieces when landing a 6-runner maiden at Wexford in July by a distance after being left clear at the last. Talented enough to win this but questions remain regarding his resolve.
Some Song (IRE)
Was fortunate when winning a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last season. Got back on track following a break when sixth on his handicap debut at Fairyhouse in April. Successful on his only start in points, and the market is likely to prove most informative now he is switched to chasing.
