The vote goes to JALILA MORIVIERE to follow up from last time with the forecast strong pace sure to suit. Crowsatedappletart is entitled to be in the mix back chasing, whilst Coming Up Easy is also worth a chance to back up his recent Galway run.

Timeform Comments

Coming Up Easy (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick when landing a 13-runner listed handicap at Killarney last season before running poorly next 2 starts. Bounced back to form with sights lowered when 3¾ lengths second of 11 to Blood Destiny at Galway on return in August. Looks yard's first choice on jockey bookings.
Jalila Moriviere (FR)
Good runner-up efforts at Punchestown in April and June. Finally off mark in handicaps in 10-runner listed race at Killarney (21f, good to soft, 9/4) 29 days ago, by ¾ from She's A Fine Wine, suited by a well-run race. Drops back in trip but should at least get the race run to suit again.
Coral River (IRE)
Useful sort who didn't need to improve to open his chase account over 2½m in novice at Clonmel in April. Well held in listed handicap at Punchestown when last seen just over 2 weeks later. Hasn't been seen out since and market likely best guide on return.
The Banger Doyle (IRE)
Fourteen runs since last win in 2024. Turned in best effort for some time when 8½ lengths second of 9 to Femme Magnifique at Killarney in July. Failed to back that up at Galway last time and has work to do.
Net Boy (FR)
Fairly useful winning hurdler. Unseated early on chasing debut in March, but took his form up a notch with a commanding success in maiden at Ballinrobe in May. 3/1, pulled up in novice chase at Killarney (17f, good) in July. Market may be the best indicator of what's expected now sent handicapping over fences.
Wonleg (IRE)
Off mark over fences at Wexford in July 2025 and produced a good effort when third in big-field Punchestown handicap that December. Always behind on return at Kilbeggan in June. Lightly raced but may just need this.
Crowsatedappletart (IRE)
Likeable sort who won 3 times over fences last year and added another at Wexford in May. Has run twice over hurdles of late, fifth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Galway (17f, good to soft) 13 days ago. May do better now back chasing.
Drumgill (IRE)
Eleven runs since last win in 2025. Been kept busy this summer, going closest in minor event over hurdles at Kilbeggan when beaten 2 lengths into third on penultimate start. Carried no win threat in a better race than he need contest back chasing at Killarney last time. Others preferred.
Costacurta (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who found 2m inadequate on chase debut at Tramore in May but stepped up on that significantly when second in novice at Wexford in June. Raced freely when fourth of 9 on handicap debut at Kilbeggan (2½m, good) in July. This is a much deeper race.
Warriors Wood
Fairly useful chaser. Won handicap at Kilbeggan (2½m) in May. Possibly the testing conditions too much in novice at Wexford 23 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Where's My Jet (IRE)
Useful winning hurdler but has become disappointing over fences and ran what has become a typical race last time, folding before the last having made most.
Bythesametoken (IRE)
Veteran who was well prepared to make a successful reappearance in this race last season. 33/1, shaped as if returned in good heart when fourth of 11 in handicap chase at Galway (2¼m, good to soft) in August, left poorly placed. Now needs to back that up.
One Last Tango (IRE)
Sixteen runs since last winning over hurdles in 2023. Made little impact in handicap hurdle at Sligo in July after a 7-month absence. Cheekpieces go back on. Runs from just out of the weights here though likely strong pace will suit back chasing.
Cappa Hill (IRE)
Fairly useful winning hurdler who shaped as if laying a platform to build on first 2 chase outings, however, failed to improve sent handicapping in this sphere at Kilbeggan last time. Uphill task from out of the weights.
