Timeform View

LITTLE MI MI has proven a revelation with 5 wins this year, the latest over C&D last month, so she is well worth another chance having had excuses at York 15 days ago. She gets the vote ahead of Stormy Impact, who should be suited by the return to softer ground, while Arklow Lad also has possibilities in a change of headgear.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Jordan Electrics could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Arklow Lad might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Sir Yoshi is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Arklow Lad (IRE)
Gained a third win for his current yard this season in the Dash at Epsom in June. Has run poorly the last twice, though he could fare better now switched to blinkers with conditions in his favour (all 3 turf wins on soft ground).
Germanic (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Stormy Impact
Winner of the 3YO Dash at Epsom in 2025 and was a keeping-on fourth in the Dash itself this year. Below form last 2 starts, though boiled over in the preliminaries at York on latest outing. Interesting from her reduced mark with conditions to suit.
Sir Yoshi (IRE)
Sole success came in maiden at Tipperary back in May 2024 but has shown encouragement for new yard this summer, making the frame over C&D in August. Below-par effort last time, though his mark has at least eased further. Blinkers applied.
Jordan Electrics
Successful 9 times at this course and returned to winning ways at Ayr (6f) in July. Has found things tougher on 2 most recent outings, tenth in the Ayr Bronze Cup 3 days ago, but he can't be ruled out back at this venue.
Montezuma
Off the mark in big-field handicap at Musselburgh (5f) in April and went close over the same C&D in July. Not in the same form in 2 races last month, though seemed unsuited by stepping back up to 6f when sixth of 10 here on latest outing.
Little Mi Mi (IRE)
Much improved performer this year, recording her fifth success in 11-runner handicap over this C&D in August. Poorly drawn when down the field at York 15 days ago, so no surprise to see her bounce back returned to this track.
