Timeform View

There are a few potential improvers in this big-field nursery but the hat-trick seeking BLADEY LADY should still prove a tough nut to crack. It was striking how far she and the runner-up pulled clear of 14 others in a similar race at Thirsk last week and she can make light of a penalty. Promising nursery newcomers Lovely Dark Angel, Soeur de Flash, Sioux Moon and Babzini head the dangers.

Timeform Comments

Enamored
Didn't need to improve to make if third time lucky in 6f Brighton maiden 45 days ago. Not obviously well treated for this nursery debut but a lightly-raced profile provides the hope for better.
Troublesome Guest (IRE)
Fair maiden who was a respectable fourth of 5 in 5f Yarmouth nursery when last seen 7 weeks ago. Starting to look a bit exposed.
Bearly Blue (IRE)
Fair form, although her recent Chester fourth was a little disappointing given she looked to have plenty in her favour from the plum draw. Has cheekpieces added for her nursery debut from a mark which demands improvement.
Lovely Dark Angel (IRE)
Promise in a pair of 6f novices last month, finishing second of 11 at Wolverhampton latterly. With a leading yard and improvement seems likely making a quick switch to handicaps.
Soeur De Flash
Promise when placed in 6f Windsor maiden (good to firm) and 5f Chepstow novice (good) in recent months. Likely improver for a yard which has had nursery winners in recent days.
Sioux Moon
Shaped encouragingly when 4 lengths second of 10 in 5f Southwell maiden 3 weeks ago. Will prove as effective back at 6f and rates an interesting one for nurseries.
Sheer Beauty (IRE)
Improved from debut when overcoming a less-than-clear passage to win a 5f Bath novice last time. Creditable third under a penalty there (5.7f) since but doesn't look obviously well treated from this opening mark.
Arabica Queen
Made it third time lucky in a 6f Newbury novice in June. Creditable third of 6 in nursery at Windsor next time. Below par on next 2 starts but shaped as if back in form when never-nearer third of 12 in 6f Lingfield nursery 11 days ago.
Star Bayside Boy (IRE)
In need of the experience on debut for Richard Hughes and showed the benefit of that run for new yard when winning 6-runner novice at Windsor (6f) last month. Faded in 7f Newbury nursery since and connections waste no time returning her to sprinting.
Babzini (IRE)
Reached frame in 2 of her 3 qualifying runs and one of a few potential improvers in nurseries in this line-up.
Rocsane (IRE)
Fair form when placing 4 times in maiden/novice events at up to 7f. Hard to knock her consistency but looks more exposed than some of the other nursery newcomers.
Seed Ya Later (IRE)
Hasn't kicked on since winning maiden at Musselburgh in April and she has started to show some quirks in recent outings, missing the break again when 2 lengths third of 7 in 6f Ffos Las nursery (good to firm) 25 days ago.
Penny Arcade (IRE)
Reached the frame on all 3 5f starts for Karl Burke but she's been well held on all 3 outings for this yard. Can only watch.
Bladey Lady (IRE)
Made it 2-2 in nurseries when seeing off 15 rivals at Thirsk (6f, good) last Monday. Her and the second came 6 lengths clear of the third and a 6 lb penalty may not prevent her completing a hat-trick.
Tallahassee Lassie
Made a winning nursery debut at Ffos Las (5f) in July. Best effort since when fifth of 14 in 6f Windsor nursery a fortnight ago but she'll need to improve for a first-time visor if she's to land a second career success here.
Crystal Kraken
Runner-up in first 2 nurseries but needs to bounce back from lesser efforts the last twice.
