MAGIC MUSIC found testing ground taking a toll on her late on over 7f at Haydock last time but she hit the front briefly in the penultimate furlong and might be worth siding with back at shorter. Act of Violence has made a bright start to life with Tony Carroll and is an obvious danger. Maid In Devon and The Flying Seagull also make the shortlist.

All-weather novice winner last year. Stepped up on that form when close second of 6 in Ffos Las handicap (6f, good) last month but needs to shrug off a lesser run at Wolverhampton (tongue tied first time) since.
Mumayaz (IRE)
Rejoined this yard from James Owen in March and ran out an easy winner over C&D in May. It's been rather a mixed bag since but is now back on that last winning mark.
Travel Agent (IRE)
Recorded back-to-back wins on the all-weather in April. Also second on turf at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) in May. Better than result when fifth on all-weather last twice and back on a workable mark.
The Bitter Moose (IRE)
Creditable third of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) last month but has followed it with a lesser run at Ascot. Bounce back needed.
The Flying Seagull (IRE)
Hasn't won for over 2 years but might strip fitter for latest Wolverhampton fifth after 9 weeks off and he's on a career-low mark. Not dismissed.
Alkuwarrior (IRE)
Transformed by first-time cheekpieces when doubling his tally in 8-runner event at Ffos Las (5f, soft) in June but hasn't reproduced that level in 5 subsequent starts.
Magic Music
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who got off the mark in 7f Doncaster handicap in June. Better than the result when sixth of 10 at Haydock (7f) 17 days ago, floundering late on very testing ground. Gets the vote.
Neptune Legend (IRE)
Has done very well since rejoining this yard in the spring after a spell with James Owen, winning 3 times during the summer. His form has dipped since but he did have an excuse last time (rider lost irons at start).
Maid In Devon
Showed improved form to rattle off a 6f hat-trick over the summer. Creditable third of 11 at Windsor on penultimate start and possibly not helped by being caught on the far flank of the group when sixth of 12 at Salisbury since. Back on last winning mark.
Act Of Violence
Made his second start for this stable (formerly trained by David Loughnane) a winning one when landing 11-runner handicap at Ripon (6f) in July. Placed both runs since, latterly second of 11 over 5f here 13 days ago. Should give another good account.
Ezra Cee (IRE)
Lightly raced since scoring at Windsor in May 2024 and plenty to prove after finishing last of 11 on recent course stable debut/reappearance.
Bleep Test
Won a 6f Redcar maiden last season but hasn't offered much in her 5 outings this season.
