Timeform View

HIGHLAND OLLY races off an 11 lb lower mark than he would on turf and with this drop back in trip also a likely plus he is worth siding with to bag a fourth success of the season. Espanita is feared most in her own bid for a fourth win of 2026 ahead of The Hare Rail and Meritocratic.

Timeform Comments

American State (IRE)
C&D winner in February. Largely in good form since, posting a respectable fourth of 9 in handicap at Southwell (1m) 18 days ago. Not discounted back down in class.
Drumstick
Emphatic winner on just second run for new yard at Windsor (1¼m, good) in May. Took strong hold after 3 months off when last of 7 in handicap at Sandown (1¼m, good) last time. Needs to bounce back but is down in grade.
The Hare Rail (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who generally gives his running, a creditable third of 12 in handicap over C&D (first-time hood) in July. Ought to be thereabouts again after a break.
Highland Olly
A 3-time turf winner (at up to 1m) in 2026. Back to form in refitted cheekpieces with third at Beverley but went freely up in trip when last of 17 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m, good to firm) 10 days ago. Can race off an 11 lb lower mark here so got to be respected back down in distance.
Rua Mor (IRE)
Ex-Irish maiden on Flat and over hurdles. Has hinted at promise for his new yard, off 3 months before a fading eighth of 9 in novice at Newcastle (7f) 16 days ago. Back up in trip and likely to do better now handicapping. Watch the betting.
Moon Beginnings (IRE)
Successful at Chester (7f) on debut a year ago but hasn't gone on in handicaps, finishing down the field on his last 3 runs (well backed at Kempton latest).
Three No Trumps
Showed promise when third on 1m Kempton debut in November but not at that level all 3 runs this season, sent off 5/2 when last of 6 in maiden at Beverley (8.5f, good to firm) in June. Makes tapeta/handicap debut.
Espanita (IRE)
Scored twice over 7f here before bagging a third success of 2026 in 4-runner handicap at Lingfield (1m, all-weather) 9 days ago. This is tougher after a 3 lb rise but she's got to be respected.
Lili Marleen (GER)
Fair winner on the all-weather at Chantilly (1m) in December but continues to show little for current connections.
Meritocratic (IRE)
Unreliable maiden for James Horton. Yet to fire in 2 runs for new handler but better signs with seventh of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (1¼m, all-weather) 11 days ago. No surprise to see him take a step forward here.
