Plenty of creditable efforts in defeats but latest Cork effort wasn't one of them. On the back of that he has a first-time visor added to his regular tongue tie.
Dragon Of Malta (IRE)
Won on successive days at this meeting last year (including this race) and could be set to repeat the feat having cashed in on a reduced mark here on Monday, albeit he was helped by the rider of the runner-up easing up prematurely when the result was still in the balance. Also took this in 2023.
Gavoo (IRE)
Course winner but rather in and out this season and ran below form when seventh of 12 at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 22 days ago.
Mercurial (IRE)

Yet to win but several good efforts this season, including when second at Leopardstown in June and when fifth here on Monday. Has a race in him.
