LACRIMA wasn't at his best when fourth at Worcester in July but had looked good when an emphatic winner there the time before and is fancied to bounce back in style now freshened up after a break. The handily-weighted Back In The Bay could emerge as the chief threat back hurdling after being pulled up over fences at Bangor.

Fairly useful chaser in France. Dominant winner for current yard at Worcester (23f) but a well-held fourth of 5 (evens) in handicap hurdle there (2½m, good to firm) later in July. Freshened up since and well worth another chance.
Back In The Bay (IRE)
Scored twice at up to 2½m over hurdles last summer. Back to form when second over hurdles at Worcester (23f) in August but pulled up (first-time cheekpieces) back chasing at Bangor (3m, good) 18 days ago. Not without interest returned to this sphere.
Prince De Juilley (FR)
C&D winner. Made an encouraging return when fourth at Worcester (23f) in June but has twice failed to build on it at Stratford and Uttoxeter. Blinkers are retried now.
Belles Benefit (IRE)
Veteran made a convincing winning return at Cartmel (2¾m) in June. Backed it up with a very good third there but only fifth of 7 returned there last time. Bounce back is needed.
Pipers Cross (IRE)
In good nick without winning last season for Emma Lavelle. Returns for new handler after 7 months off and needs to hit the ground running.
