SHADES OF MAY has fitness on his side over several returning from an absence here and he's likely to get things his own way if attempting to make all again so he's taken to handle the rise in grade and account for Feel The Need and Thapa VC, both of whom capable from their current mark but require truly-run affairs.

Feel The Need
Not easy to win with lately but returned to form when second of 13 at Doncaster in Leger Legends race over 1m 13 days ago. Drops back to 7f and has never been in a lower grade than this before so he's well capable of taking a hand if things drop right.
Thapa Vc (IRE)
Won at Doncaster and Yarmouth in July. Only sixth of 9 at Lingfield 30 days ago but he is better when getting a stronger gallop. C&D winner but not sure to get the race run to suit.
Profit Street (IRE)
Won 3 times on all-weather at Lingfield for James Owen this year and largely consistent afterwards barring a blip there on turf when last seen making stable debut in May. Will be suited by this return to all-weather but needs to be at top of his game returning from 129 days off without usual visor.
King Of York (IRE)
All 5 career wins over C&D but not in good form when last seen here in April. Stable struggling for winners and looks best opposed on return from 152 days off.
Phoenix Of Dreams (IRE)
Won a 7f Newcastle handicap in March and produced creditable third of 7 over C&D when last seen in April. Returns after nearly 5 months off without usual hood here but his stable is going well.
Enpassant (IRE)
Twice a winner on all-weather earlier this year for Michael Herrington. Creditable third of 8 on debut for current yard at Newcastle 19 days ago and not without hope.
Tactical Blitz
Off the mark at Newcastle in March but hasn't fired either start since leaving Archie Watson. Now below last winning mark and first-time tongue strap applied but not easy to assess.
Because We Can (IRE)
Free-going sort who showed improved form in visor when successful on handicap debut at Wolverhampton in January. Not seen to best effect in 2 subsequent starts and now returns from 181 days off.
Shades Of May
Thrived this year, winning 4 times on all-weather, including twice over C&D. Made all for latest success here last month and, though up in grade, he may well enjoy tactical advantages if employing the same style here and can go well.
