This looks a strong race for the grade but ASGAR relished the increase in trip when running out a clear-cut winner on nursery debut at Yarmouth (7f) 10 days ago and with this slight step up in trip promising to hold no fears, he could well take some stopping under a penalty. That said there are several interesting types in opposition, headed up by Thebesthasyetocome, recent C&D scorer Girl Scout and Godolphin representative Noble Prince.

Frankel colt who showed fair form in a pair of 7f novice events and he found some improvement on softer ground than previously when second of 5 on nursery debut at Sandown (7f) 4 weeks ago, no match for winner but clear of remainder. Interesting with first-time cheekpieces enlisted upped to 1m.
Thebesthasyetocome (IRE)
Starman colt who confirmed debut promise when landing 6-runner Ayr maiden (6f) in June, pulling well clear inside final 1f. Not seen to anything like best effect when eighth in big field sales race at York since and this imposing sort remains potentially useful now tackling nurseries up in trip.
Asgar (IRE)
Supremacy colt who shaped with plenty of encouragement on second of 3 starts in novice company and he duly proved well suited by the increase in trip when making a winning nursery debut at Yarmouth (7f) 10 days ago, forging clear. Big player under a penalty with step up to 1m promising to suit.
Keep Grating (IRE)
Knuckled down well when opening his account in a 7f Yarmouth novice in August and he posted another solid effort when second of 6 on nursery debut at Doncaster (1m, good) 2 weeks ago. Compiling a solid record and no reason why he won't give another good account.
Girl Scout
Perfect Power filly who was presumably fitter for recent run and did well under the circumstances having been denied a run when off the mark in a heavy ground C&D novice 21 days ago. Quickened well for mainly hands-and-heels riding then and surely more to come now handicapping.
Real Edition (IRE)
Son of Calyx who took a big step forward from his debut with fourth of 12 in novice at Southwell (7f) in July. Never travelling well when well held at Beverley (7.3f) the following month, though, and he goes handicapping now having been gelded in what looks a warm race for the grade.
Blanquita
Lope Y Fernandez filly who improved a little on her Kempton debut fourth when posting a fair second in a heavy ground Beverley maiden (7.3f) 4 weeks ago, staying on without making an impression on the winner. Steps up in trip for nursery debut but others appeal more for win purposes.
