A final chance is given to ARISAIG, who hasn't won since summer 2024 but Charlie Johnston's mare is clearly capable of winning races at this level provided things drop right. Alobayyah was progressive prior to her Haydock blip last month, so she's put forward as the main danger, while Estissa and Gilding The Lily are a couple of progressive 3-y-os who may also be involved at the business end, too.

More than confirmed her reappearance promise when beating 23 rivals in the Kensington Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in June but turned in an underwhelming display 7 weeks on when seventh of 10 in listed race at Haydock (1m) last time, needing stronger gallop. Worth another chance.
Arisaig
Hold-up mare who is winless since summer of 2024 but wasn't beaten far when third in 1m Pontefract listed event in early-July. Never involved in Valiant Fillies' Stakes at Ascot last time but she's capable of winning races at this level if things drop right.
Crystal Flyer
Southwell handicap winner for Tom Ward in spring 2025 and posted by far her best effort for current yard when a fast-finishing neck second of 12 in listed race at Pontefract in early-July. Found it much tougher back against males at latter track a couple of months ago, however.
Song N Dance
Was well backed stepping out of fillies'-only company for the first time in 2026 and delivered an improved effort over a slightly longer trip when winning 12-runner event at Wolverhampton (8.5f) earlier in the month, finding extra. More needed up in class but she's had a light campaign so far.
Applesandpears
Registered back-to-back victories in all-weather novice events in late-2025 and opened her account for the campaign with a 25/1 surprise in 10-runner handicap at Ascot just under 3 weeks ago, first-time cheekpieces seemingly the catalyst. Will probably find a few too good at this level.
Blingy's Sister (IRE)
Sole success came on debut last summer but knocking on the door this season, running a blinder on handicap debut when fourth of 30 in the Sandringham. Mixed efforts in this company in recent starts, though best excused her latest Longchamp (10.5f) outing (denied a run). Back down to 1m.
Estissa
Dual winner this year who has acquitted herself well in her previous 3 starts at this level, turning in another good effort under typically waiting tactics when fourth of 13 at Longchamp (1m, good) just over 3 weeks ago, finishing strongly. Remains open to improvement.
Gilding The Lily
Blue Point filly who confirmed the considerable promise shown on debut when justifying cramped odds in a 3-runner novice on the July course last month. Defied a penalty in another small-field novice at Kempton (1m) 3 weeks ago and this progressive filly needs considering upped in class.
Lizzana (IRE)
Didn't need to improve to follow up from Kempton returning from 6 months off at Wolverhampton back in March. Has upped her game significantly at pattern level the last twice, most recently when third of 15 in Italian Oaks at Milan (10.5f) 3 months ago. Market check advisable.
