Has won 3 times on the Flat this year, including C&D classified event in June. Hard to knock his recent consistency, runner up over further here prior to finishing a creditable fourth back over this C&D 6 days ago. Can give another good account.
Yaaser (IRE)
Finished a close third in better race at Hamilton last month but typically put himself on the back foot with slow starts of late, and ran poorly when last of 8 in handicap at Ayr (1m, soft) last week. Back up in trip now and whilst he's capable, he clearly comes with risks attached.
Eagles Dream (IRE)
Fair maiden in Ireland for John Joseph Murphy. Yet to cut much ice for current yard, including following a breathing operation at Carlisle (9f, good to firm) 4 weeks ago.
Balmoral Boy (IRE)
Supremacy gelding who has displayed much more encouraging signs on 2 of last 3 starts, equipped with cheekpieces when keeping on third in big-field handicap at Redcar (1m) 16 days ago. Return to this longer trip promises to suit on that evidence and he's worth a second look.
Carwyn (IRE)
Showed ability in maidens in Ireland last year but hasn't fired in 5 starts for current yard this season. Steps back in trip now.

Low-mileage sort who capitalised on a falling mark and justified good support in the process when opening his account in 12-runner C&D handicap 23 days ago. Did well under the circumstances then (encountered trouble in running) and a 3 lb rise should see him very competitive again.

Juvenile hurdle winner for this yard in 2024. Made the frame but ran to only a modest level back from 10 months off when fourth in classified event at Ayr (1m, good) last month and fared no better when 10 lengths fourth of 7 in a C&D handicap since. Others more persuasive.
