Sure Touch
Useful chaser whose course form figures read 13101, including success in 2024 Summer Plate. Again shaped up well over a trip that stretches him when 8½ lengths third at Bangor (3m) last time. Cheekpieces go back on, and he's the one to beat at the weights.
Jet To Vegas (IRE)
Useful sort. Looked ready for another crack at fences when sixth in a very competitive Aintree handicap hurdle, however he capitulated in worrying fashion (previously had a couple of breathing operations) in a handicap chase at Punchestown in May. Fairly treated if back on song, though.
Fringill Dike (IRE)
Zestful front runner who capitalised on a falling mark in some style over C&D in June. Still in form when 1½-length second in a 3-runner event here in early-July. Fancied to go well in a race that he should be able to dominate, provided his jumping holds up again.
Nickelforce (IRE)
Most reliable chaser despite again promising more than he delivered when 5½-length fifth in the Summer Plate over C&D in July. Isn't badly handicapped, however, front-running Fringill Dike probably exposes any chinks in his armour (hardly a strong stayer at the trip).
