Best form has come on all-weather, where he's been successful 8 times. Went off too hard on the back of a quick turnaround at Southwell in July but ran much better following a 9-week break when fourth of 7 at Musselburgh (2¼m) 14 days ago. Blinkers back on.
Talismans Time
Successful twice at Hamilton last year. Bit of a mixed record since, proving a disappointment when beaten 9 lengths at Carlisle (1¾m, good to firm) latest. Bounce back required.
Tarbat Ness
Landed a third success of the season at Carlisle in July and quickly back on track when third of 6 in a 2m handicap at Newmarket in August. Stuck to his task behind a thriving rival at Newcastle latest and ought to go well again.
Zimmerman
Back to form with a vengeance this month, completing a quick hat-trick with plenty to spare at Catterick (1¾m, good) in September. Had his winning run ended at Chester on most recent start but was by no means discredited and remains of interest.
Gibside
Course winner who turned in his best effort of the season when third of 5 at Catterick in June but has offered little in 3 subsequent outings.
