POWER BLUE has fallen short at Group 1 level this year but still looked a smart sort when scoring at this track in a Group 2 in July and this looks a good opportunity to add another success down in trip and grade. Big Gossey is so hard to rule out around here given his incredible course record and he'll run well, while Royal Bay Cen needs considering given how impressive she was fresh earlier in the season.

Phoenix Stakes winner at 2 who has been overfaced at Group 1 level this season but bounced back to win a Group 2 at this course over 7f in July (beating Big Gossey). Struggled back at the top level last time but this drop in grade will help and he looks a big player back at 6f.
Big Gossey (IRE)
Remarkable course specialist with 10 wins here including 5 over C&D. Won here in June but last 2 runs have been at unsuitable trips. Hard to rule out back at this trip around here and looks sure to give it a good go up against younger rivals.
East Hampton
Yet to win beyond handicap company and not kicked on from good second here over 7f on reappearance. Drops back to 6f for the first time this year but best on softer going and needs to find some progress at this level.
Tango Flare (IRE)
Won at Fairyhouse in June and produced good second in a listed race here later that month. Proved vulnerable in handicaps last 2 starts and this task may prove beyond him.
Brussels
In top hands but hasn't hit the heights his juvenile campaign promised and looked laboured when seventh of 17 in a Group 1 over 5f at this course 14 days ago. Back up in trip now and needs a lot more, though did win his maiden over C&D last May.
Charles Darwin (IRE)
High-class juvenile who won the Norfolk Stakes before missing the rest of his 2-y-o campaign. Returned in April with a routine win in a listed race at Navan but has gone the wrong way since and has plenty of questions to answer with blinkers now removed.
Fregada (IRE)
Useful sort who made frame in listed company over this trip last 2 starts, including when third to Soul Love last time. Also a C&D winner but this demands a lot more.
Royal Bay Cen (IRE)
Ex-French filly who went especially well fresh when winning a listed race impressively on stable debut at Cork on heavy going in May before respectable fourth of 8 in a Group 3 at Naas later that month. Now returns after 133 days off for in-form yard and demands respect.
Soul Love
British raider who has made up into a useful sprinter with 4 wins from 7 starts and ran well when second of 8 in Group 3 at Naas 35 days ago. Consistent sort who looks sure to give her running.
