BLUE NOON has proved consistent in defeat in handicaps in recent months, not beaten at all far when fifth over this trip at Goodwood 4 weeks ago. She looks to hold sound claims back in novice company with a tongue strap now added. Maestro Del Mar also enters calculations despite conceding weight all round. Seacole and newcomer Rowlf also require a second look.

Fairly useful colt who cemented his promising start for new yard when finishing a good second on handicap debut at Kempton (1½m) in August. Found life tougher back in novice grade against 3-y-os when fourth at Southwell since but this does look less demanding and booking of Billy Loughnane a plus
Red Red
Rerouted gelding. Dam maiden (stayed 8.5f). Yard wouldn't be a known source of winning newcomers in this sphere.
Rowlf
Golden Horn gelding. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Kissmehoneyhoney. Dam, 1½m winner who stayed 2½m, also won in bumpers/over hurdles. Certainly not lacking for stamina judged on pedigree and he's one to note in the betting on debut for leading stable.
Blue Noon (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough success but has been running well in handicaps, matching her previous best when finishing close-up fifth at Goodwood (1¼m, good) 30 days ago. Rates a likely player back in novice company. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Paraone
Raven's Pass filly who has offered little in pair of novice/maiden events in recent weeks.
Seacole (IRE)
Fair filly who ran up to her previous best with first-time cheekpieces enlisted (retained) when third of 7 in maiden at Windsor (11.5f) 13 days ago. Not progressing at present but a repeat gives her claims nevertheless.
