ROSEMARY’S ROSE disappointed last time and has proved expensive to follow this season, but she has already run well twice at this course this year and is worth another chance back in 0-60 company. Prince Ali arrives in good form and rates the main threat despite a 6 lb rise, while Homeland can also be involved if putting his best foot forward.

Rosemary's Rose (IRE)
Dual 1m all-weather winner over the winter. Has largely been running well whilst proving expensive to follow of late, 1½ lengths third of 8 to Kaleidoscope Eyes in handicap (evens) at this track (7.5f) last month, but then disappointed in 7f event at Chepstow last time. Return to 1m should suit.
Prince Ali
Dual winner at Chepstow this year, landing a 9-runner 0-55 handicap in June and a 7f similar event there in August, beating Escape Magic by 2¾ lengths on latest. Up 6 lb and now back at 1m, but looks sure to give another good account.
Thestral
A fair 7f scorer (albeit not straightforward) for Hugo Palmer who signed off for that yard with a good third at Wetherby in June. Not in same form on either start for this stable, though.
Homeland
Underlined good start for new yard by justifying support to when winning 1¼m handicap at this course in July. Undone by 3 lb rise at Lingfield next time, though, and ran about as well as could be expected from 5 lb out of the handicap in 1m event at Chepstow last time.
Scarfo (IRE)
Won at Chepstow in June and has pretty much held his form since, though a recent third in a 0-85 event back at Chepstow from 13 lb out of the handicap leaves him on a mark 9 lb above his last winning one.
Cosmic Girl
Wootton Bassett filly who showed plenty to work on when third of 5 in novice at Lingfield (7.5f, good) back in May. Has gone wrong way both stats since and a leap of faith required to make a case for her making an immediate impact in handicap company.
Uniter
Maiden who failed to progress for Andrew Balding. Hasn't managed to get seriously competitive for new yard either, though ran one of this season's better races when 2¼ lengths fourth of 8 to Tronido at Epsom last month.
A Rose Adaay
Got off the mark in first-time cheekpieces in 11-runner handicap at Chepstow (7f, soft) last month, suited by being held up in a strongly-run race. Failed to back that up at Bath last time, though.
Grand Vista (IRE)
Unreliable sort. Below-par eighth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 32 days ago, looking a hard ride. Others more persuasive.
Pebble Dash (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who has tended to save his best for Newcastle but ran one of his better races when 3 lengths third of 9 to Equion at this course on latest.
