The switch to fences may see an improved effort from lightly-raced MINELLA JURY, who showed plenty of promise in the early part of last season and returns with his yard bang in form. A compelling case can be made for each of the others, with Juggernaut perhaps the most likely danger following a comfortable success over C&D last time.

The likelihood of this being a slowly run race means a more prominent position would be beneficial, Minella Jury could be the one to race near the pace: Amongst those forecasted to have a good chance, Juggernaut, who looks likely to race nearer last than first, may be compromised by a race not truly run as is the likelihood with no obvious pacesetters.

Gore Point
Thriving when completing a 4-timer (and C&D hat-trick) in another small-field event last month. Clearly didn't give his running off a 5-day turnaround here subsequently. Has been given time to get over that and may go close if back on song with Harry Cobden taking over.
Minella Jury (IRE)
Fairly useful bumper winner in Ireland. Looked set to make it 2 from 3 over hurdles when exiting on handicap bow at Doncaster in February and didn't look over that fall at Plumpton 5 weeks later. Low-mileage 6-y-o is interesting now sent chasing by yard that often makes hay at this time of year.
Inside Man (FR)
Fairly useful type who notched his fourth career hurdles win in smooth style on return here (2m) last year. Presumably had a few issues subsequently but looked on his way back when beaten 9 lengths at Chepstow in April. The best of these over hurdles and looks the type to make a chaser.
Juggernaut (FR)
Back to his best in first-time blinkers when landing 5-runner C&D chase with extra to spare earlier this month. Could well follow up despite being just out of the weights, with promising 5-lb claimer again in the saddle (2 wins and a second from 3 starts aboard him).
