MACANUDO has been firmly in the groove since the blinkers went back on and is fancied to defy a 3 lb rise and gain a quick hat-trick here at the chief expense of the consistent My Mate Mackley who looks set to extend his run of solid in-frame efforts. In-form duo Port Hedland and Nordic Glory can also play a prominent role in this very open-looking handicap.

Back in fine form since refitted with blinkers and bids for a hat-trick after 5f handicap successes at Wolverhampton and Bath recently, getting on top late on both occasions. Up 3 lb but can go very well again.
Nordic Glory (IRE)
Unreliable individual but he doubled her tally for the season at Bath in July. Posted a solid fifth of 17 in another handicap there last time. Can't be ruled out in his current mood.
Pure Passion
Made a winning start in handicaps at Lingfield (5f, all-weather) in August but came in last of 8 back there (5f) 18 days ago. This is easier and she was successful on her only other go on turf.
Candy Warhol (USA)
On a long losing sequence but several good in-frame efforts (including here) this year until a below-par fifth of 12 at Wolverhampton (6f) last time. Should bounce back.
My Mate Mackley
Gained a second win in classified company at Lingfield (6f) in August. Has run well to be in the frame all 4 runs since, fourth of 12 in 6f handicap at Southwell 6 days ago. A player off an unchanged mark with usual cheekpieces refitted.
Port Hedland
Opened his account for the year in classified race at Bath in June. Not disgraced over C&D and when a close sixth of 8 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, good to firm) last 2 runs. Well in the mix with hood back on.
Lynwood Lad
Winless since going in over 5f here last June and he came in last of 11 in classified event over C&D in June. Needs to get back on track after a break.
Daley T (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 29 runs. Not at his best of late too, going too freely in a change of headgear when sixth of 9 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, good to firm) 26 days ago.
