Maiden who bounced back to form from his slipping mark when beaten only by a gambled-on winner at Thirsk 2 weeks ago, clear of the rest and seeing out this longer trip well. Not taken lightly.

Perked up with the application of headgear when off the mark at Catterick before backing that up when fourth here (1m). Ran well without the headgear at Yarmouth 12 days ago but not an obvious type to handle bad ground.
Sailor Batt (IRE)
Maiden but often gives his running and looked rusty after 5 months off at Redcar 3 weeks ago.
Lope Y Linda
Free-going type who looked better than ever when making all at Catterick 3 weeks ago, her rider doing well to get across from the widest stall. 5 lb rise seems a little excessive but she has a good record here.
Kelpie Grey
Not the force of old and further decline this year, though at least fared better for a while when third here (1m) 22 days ago, albeit beaten almost 5 lengths.

Ex-Irish 4-y-o who has yet to win a handicap and hasn't cut much ice for current yard.

Sole success came in Bath novice (heavy) for Marcus Tregoning in autumn 2024. Hasn't threatened to capitalise on slipping mark since joining this yard, her latest run here particularly poor. Cheekpieces back on.
