Not a strong maiden and it would be no surprise to see BOLD COMMANDER leave behind a couple of lesser efforts and get off the mark now fitted with blinkers. Sonny Hayes is an interesting newcomer, while Sapphire Sun could do better if settling down.

Bold Commander (IRE)
Fifth in strong 6f maiden at the Curragh on debut, and although he hasn't progressed, this looks an ordinary contest and he's certainly one of the main contenders if first-time blinkers have the desired effect.
El Domino
Made more impact than previously when held in third in 6f maiden here 3 weeks ago, not knocked about having again taken a keen hold. Needs another step forward.
Habu (IRE)
Yard knows this family well but he showed only greenness in 6f Naas maiden on debut a fortnight ago and will probably need more time.
Lion Of Fortune (IRE)
Probably needed the run on debut at the Curragh (6f) 6 weeks ago and should last longer this time. Cheekpieces go on.
Sonny Hayes (IRE)
Foaled March 19. 175,000 gns foal, Blue Point colt. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f winner Nidhaal. Makes plenty of appeal on paper starting out in a thin maiden.
Spirit Of The Nite (IRE)
Made an encouraging start when running on late to fill second spot in a Down Royal maiden (5f) at the start of the month. May have found next race at Dundalk coming too soon just a fortnight on and faces a similar turnaround now.
Alfresco (IRE)
€250,000 No Nay Never filly. Half-sister to several winners, including very smart 1m-1¼m winner Prague. Little impact in 6f Naas maidens and looks one for handicaps over further next year. Tongue tie goes on.

Hasn't beaten another rival in 2 Naas maidens.

No show in 5f maidens.
