Narrowly denied in 2 handicap hurdles before scoring readily in a C&D chase on third start for Dan Skelton. Didn't look 100% on final run for the yard last month. Will need to get back on the up to make a winning start for shrewd connections, though.
Limerick Leader (FR)
One of several success stories for his yard this season. Well ridden to defeat Depalma at Bangor prior to defying a penalty at Sedgefield (3¼m). Made a bold bid for hat-trick when ¾-length second at Kelso (2¾m) latest. Dangerous back up in trip, especially if given rope on the front end.
Depalma (IRE)
Two-time Irish point winner. Shaped well when 3-length second to Limerick Leader on stable debut at Bangor. Overcame return to hurdles/shorter trip to get off the mark in course novice (2¾m) last time. Makes plenty of appeal off the same mark back over fences and hardly looks fully exposed, either.
