Timeform View

GONE IN SIXTY isn't an obvious follow-up candidate given his record but with Sean Bowen retaining the ride, he's worth chancing to defy a 5 lb higher mark for his Stratford success. Soldier In Mayo shaped well on last month's return/chasing debut behind a well-handicapped rival at Bangor and rates next best with improvement likely. Sedgefield scorer Socks Off rounds off the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Gone In Sixty traded at a high of 2.80 and Betfair SP of 2.60 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Socks Off (IRE)
Bounced back to form on just his second start for the yard when determined winner of 8-runner handicap chase at Sedgefield (2m, good) 22 days ago. Step back up in trip won't inconvenience him and he's respected bidding to follow up from a 4 lb higher mark.
Whitewinewednesday (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Soldier In Mayo (IRE)
Point winner who found some improvement to make a successful handicap hurdle debut in May 2025, showing a good attitude. Shaped well sent chasing when runner-up to a well-handicapped rival back at Bangor (2½m) on return last month and is open to improvement.
My Bobby's Lass
Doubled her hurdles tally in 2½m handicap at Worcester in May 2025. Never looked like following up there a month later and understandably shaped as if in need of the run sent chasing after 15 months off (very easy to back) at Bangor recently. This will reveal more.
Nevershedatear (IRE)
NON RUNNER.
Gone In Sixty
Finally ended his drought with Sean Bowen on board for the first time in 10-runner handicap chase at Stratford (23f) 26 days ago, running on. Wouldn't be an obvious type to follow up given his record but is worth chancing to do so from a 5 lb higher mark with the Champion Jockey retaining the ride.
Helios Allen (FR)
Has tumbled in the weights since going over fences and showed some ability remains on first run since leaving Phillippa Taylor (owner) after 2 years off when second of 7 in handicap at Fontwell (2¾m, good to firm) 34 days ago, albeit no match for winner. Possibilities if building on that run.
Noble Recall
Doubled his tally back over hurdles in 10-runner handicap at Worcester (2½m, good to soft) 21 days ago, well ridden. Pulled up over fences there on penultimate outing but had shown some aptitude for the job 8 months earlier.
Rockvale (IRE)
Maiden who ran creditably on the figures when third of 7 in handicap chase at Bangor (2½m, good) 27 days ago, though his jumping typically cost him at a vital stage. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
