MOON ROCK was in need of the initial experience when a promising sixth in a valuable Ascot maiden and Ed Walker's Sea The Moon colt looks the way to go with improvement very much on the cards. Newcomers Showmaster and Vulcanist are in excellent hands and appeal on pedigree too so rate threats, especially if the market vibes are positive. Kamaal is another who can play a prominent role if rediscovering his best form.

Sent off 28/1 but made a promising start amidst greenness when sixth of 11 in valuable maiden at Ascot (7f, good) 27 days ago. This Sea The Moon colt cost €280,000 at the breeze-ups and seems sure to improve. Big shout.

Foaled June 7. Too Darn Hot colt. Brother to 1¼m winner Hot Fashion and closely related to 3 other winners, including smart winner up to 10.4f Arabian Queen. Dam 1m-1½m winner. In excellent hands and bred to be well above average. Very much one to consider.
My Spritely
300/1, last of 10 in novice at Epsom (7f, good) on debut 21 days ago. This Starman filly needs to take a major step forward.
Vera Lemon
125/1, last of 12 in novice here (6f, good to soft) on her first run 41 days ago. Significantly more is needed from this daughter of Without Parole.
