C&D winner Rocky's Howya rates a major threat as he bids to extend his unbeaten sequence in claimers to 5, while Rich Belief and Allo Al Khawaneej also enter the reckoning.

Went wrong way over hurdles and hasn't kicked on from a promising chasing debut. Reverts to hurdling but difficult to make a case for him.
Jackson Lamb (IRE)
Dual winner over hurdles last year and has also shown fair form in maiden chases, runner-up in 6-runner event at Wexford (19f) last month. Not so good last 2 starts, though, including mid-division in a similar race to this at Bellewstown on penultimate start.
Holy Joe (IRE)
Much improved to get off the mark at the third attempt in 15-runner maiden hurdle at Clonmel in June. Made the most of what became a good opportunity when following up in novice at Perth next time but had winning run ended in better-quality race last month and ran no sort of race 13 days ago.
Andys Flame
Lightly raced in recent seasons but proved he retains some ability despite going about things in a very laboured manner when 9½ lengths third of 10 to In For The Night in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan in July. Disappointing back up in trip last time, though. Wears first-time blinkers.
Rich Belief
Won a claiming hurdle at Wexford in May and has been placed in similar events on all 3 hurdling starts since, second of 13 to Rocky's Howya at Bellewstown on latest. Since posted a good third on Flat here. Blinkers back on and rates one of the likelier sorts to be involved.
Rocky's Howya (IRE)
Trailblazer who has been resurgent equipped with headgear, continuing his winning sequence in claiming hurdles over C&D and at Roscommon (3m) and Bellewstown (2½m, good) this summer. Remains unbeaten in claimers and big shout once more.
Warm In Gorey (IRE)
Placed at Wexford and Downpatrick on first 2 starts this season. Only tenth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (19f, good to soft) 8 days ago so lots more is needed if he is to end a long losing run.
Allo Al Khawaneej
Well backed when landing Kilbeggan maiden hurdle (2m) in April 2025. Rather hit and miss since but one of better efforts when third of 13 to Rocky's Howya in claiming hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m, good) last time. Worth noting though when the market speaks in his favour again.
Marlpark (IRE)
Lightly raced and little impact since 2024/25 when a course winner. Too free in first-time blinkers when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f, good) in July.
Migdam (FR)
Lightly raced over hurdles but won 2m maiden at Tramore last summer (wore hood) for Edward Buckley. Below par both runs for current handler at Kilbeggan (2m) and Downpatrick (2¼m, good to soft) last month.
Tullyveery Lad (IRE)
Runner-up in claiming hurdle at Roscommon (25f) in July. Not seen to best effect back over fences when fifth of 10 in handicap chase at Tramore (2¾m, good to firm) in August. Possibilities reverted to hurdles.
Black Heather (IRE)
Scored on his hurdling bow at Naas (2m) last April but ridden too aggressively when pulled up at Bellewstown (17f) final run over hurdles that season. Since back to form on the Flat this summer and very much favoured at these weights back hurdling.
Hello Johnjoe (IRE)
Still a maiden and she was pulled up in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good to soft) 13 days ago. Tongue strap goes on for first time.
Plontier (FR)
Scored over hurdles at Sligo in August 2024 for Willie Mullins. Well-held twelfth of 14 in handicap hurdle for current yard at Killarney (2¾m, good to soft) in August. Needs to take a big step forward.
Shanroe
Useful Flat winner at his peak in 2023. Lightly raced in his advancing years and went with little encouragement after 10 months off when tenth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Navan (2m, good to soft) 12 days
