MISTY COVE has yet to match her Flat form in this sphere but shaped with more encouragement last time and, with the conditions of the race suiting and improvement likely, looks worth chancing in an open contest. Sallap boasts a good record here and rates the main danger after a career-best effort last time, while Demanding Gerry and Eaglewood are also respected.

Showed more than previously over hurdles when third of 8 (held when left in a place last) at Leopardstown in March. Ran a moody race when last seen though and has a fair bit to find now tackling a handicap on the back of 179-day absence.
Crossbar Getaway (IRE)
Improved effort over hurdles when returning from 8 months off to finish second of 18 in 17f maiden at Clonmel (good) in May. Failed to back that up at Punchestown following month. Makes handicap debut starting out for new yard.
Sallap (IRE)
Dual course winner, including extended 2¾m handicap in June. Followed that up with a success at Limerick in July and has held well since despite not always being seen to best effect, turning in a career best when ¾-length second of 15 to Can Happen at Navan last time. Player.
Golden Wings (IRE)
Third of 20 in maiden at Punchestown on hurdles debut in January but well below that level in 4 subsequent starts, including on handicap debut on latest. Hard to make a case for unless market speaks firmly in her favour.
Eaglewood (IRE)
Bumper winner who has yet to reach the same level over hurdles but took a notable step back in the right direction when 6 lengths fifth of 9 to La Cote Fleurie in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan last time despite being left poorly placed. Obvious claims if able to build on that performance.
Mia In Milan (IRE)
Showed a bit more than previously over hurdles when 18¼ lengths eighth of 15 to The Dotski in mares maiden at Ballinrobe last. Looks open to further improvement back up in trip on handicap debut.
Mount Shenshan (IRE)
Maiden chaser who posted a couple of respectable efforts in this sphere in May before struggling on last 2 starts. Potentially well treated now back over hurdles, though her losing run stretches back 18 outings.
Demanding Gerry (IRE)
Maiden has finished runner-up 4 times in handicaps. Shaped as if still in good form when 6¼ lengths fifth of 15 to At The Wings at Navan, again doing her best work at the finish. Entitled to be thereabouts.
Feet On The Ground (IRE)
Maiden who hasn't kicked on from a promising enough third on chasing debut in May and showed nothing on debut for current yard last time. Switches to hurdles from a good mark based on old efforts but has plenty to prove at present
Princess Felicia (IRE)
Confirmed the positive impression made since joining this yard when quickening clear to win a 16-runner handicap at Ballinrobe in August. Shaped as if amiss last time, blowing hard post-race, but remains one to consider.
Tasmanian Girl (IRE)
Caused a shock when landing a handicap at Thurles in March 2025 for Aengus King but hasn't threatened to add to that success since. That said, she's shaped with a bit more encouragement on last 2 starts for current connections and any market support should be seriously noted.
Misty Cove (IRE)
An 11f Flat winner (borderline fairly useful form), she has yet to match that level in 3 juvenile maiden hurdles but produced her best effort to date when a 1¾-length fourth of 13 behind Bell Ex Too at Ballinrobe on latest. Open to improvement now handicapping and aided by weight-for-age allowance.
