LOUIESCALL has run a couple of crackers on the Flat since his Tramore maiden success in July and might prove the answer back hurdling. Kashchei has a progressive profile over hurdles since the spring and can fill the forecast spot ahead of Hopeful Hero.

Timeform Comments

Kashchei
Took another step forward to register a second success of the campaign in 9-runner novice hurdle at Downpatrick (21f, soft, 7/1) 13 days ago, relishing the increased emphasis on stamina. Big player back in a handicap.
Hopeful Hero (IRE)
Winner of maiden at Bellewstown in July and mostly creditable efforts in handicaps since, including fourth of 13 in handicap at Navan (2m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Significantly up in trip.
Louiescall (IRE)
Won a Tramore maiden hurdle in August and has run well to place on the Flat at Cork and Listowel since. Bold show likely back hurdling.
St Lawrence's Well (IRE)
Winner of a bumper last September. Second on hurdle debut next time but hasn't progressed as might have been expected since, including ninth of 12 on handicap debut at Kilbeggan (3m, good) when last seen in June.
Le Questionnaire (FR)
Placed both starts in British points. Runner-up in a couple of maiden hurdles for Gordon Elliott in the spring but has disappointed in 2 similar races around 3m since. First-time blinkers need to spark a revival now handicapping.
Star Cave (IRE)
Thrice-raced maiden under Rules. Hooded first time, second of 12 in maiden hurdle (6/1) at Wexford (3m, soft) 34 days ago. Makes handicap debut.
