If IL SILENZIO can translate anything like his chase form this summer back to the smaller obstacles he should take a bit of stopping from his lower mark in this sphere. Shark Hanlon's Pure Logic rates an obvious danger after a string of good efforts in recent months. Boomerang Breeze is a potential improver in handicaps and is also shortlisted along with Bobby Kirova.

Respectable ninth of 20 in handicap hurdle (16/1) at Galway (17f, good to soft) 24 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Tongue strap on first time. Stable among the winners.
Land Of Punt (IRE)
Placed twice over hurdles (including handicap) for Tom Lacey last season. Sold out of that yard for £8,000 after a lesser effort at Aintree in May. The betting should help guide to expectations on first run for new yard.
Like An Ocean (IRE)
Made the perfect start to her career when winning a 14-runner maiden hurdle at Roscommon in July. Hasn't built on that in 2 outings since (including a handicap) but this longer trip may help.
Friar Hogan (IRE)
Close second at Limerick in July and was one of many unsuited by the way the race developed when sixth of 16 in handicap (7/2) at Kilbeggan (19f, good) since.
South Of Killerig (IRE)
Pulled up in 2 points in May and no significant impact in a couple of hurdles in August. Others are more persuasive.
Bobby Kirova
Little impact in Flat handicaps for present stable but better signs since hurdling, finishing a good third of 14 in handicap at Kilbeggan (19f, good to soft) 28 days ago. Has first-time cheekpieces added to his tongue tie.
G N Jefferson
Dead-heated for third on the second of 2 starts in points but well held in a bumper (for Jack Teal) and 3 maiden hurdles under Rules. Makes handicap debut.
Boomerang Breeze (IRE)
Some promise in his qualifying runs and rates a potential improver for a yard which had a winner earlier in the week.
Portetta (IRE)
Maiden who has been well held in handicaps on all 3 outings this season. Pure Logic is much the more obvious of the stable's pair.

In good form over fences this summer, including a 25f Roscommon handicap win in August. Dangerously well treated off his lower hurdles mark.

Unplaced both starts in points and well held in 3 maiden hurdles this summer. Handicap debut.

Again showed little switched to a handicap/upped in trip at Ballinrobe (2¾m). Off for further 10 weeks since.
Nunya (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 250/1, eleventh of 19 in novice hurdle at Cork (17f, soft). Off 9 months. Makes handicap hurdle debut.

Long-standing maiden who went with no promise on his return from a long absence at Tramore in August.
Doyen Og (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 17 starts but was a respectable fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good to soft) 13 days ago.

Bumper winner but has shown only modest form over hurdles/fences since. Distant third in handicap chase at Wexford last time. RESERVE.
Ballyredinkingston (IRE)
Hit and miss over hurdles and sixth of 9 on Roscommon chase debut when last seen 8 weeks ago. Cheekpieces go on 1st time reverting back to hurdles. RESERVE.
Colesberg (IRE)
Unexposed sort who has made the frame in both handicaps, latterly fourth of 16 at Roscommon (2m, good to soft) on Monday. RESERVE.
