Timeform View

A wide-open sprint to kick things off and it could pay to take a chance on INISHMOT PRINCE, who should come on from his recent Laytown reappearance and perhaps more pertinently his usual visor is back on. Caffu Zafeen is sure to be popular arriving on a hat-trick, but he may have to settle for silver, with stable-switcher Blue Anthem and Happy Henry another couple worthy of consideration, too.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Caffu Zafeen traded at a high of 2.60 and Betfair SP of 1.71 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Caffu Zafeen (IRE)
Capitalised on a falling mark when opening account under this rider in 17-runner event at Fairyhouse last month. Strong in the betting and didn't need to improve to follow up under a penalty in 13-runner event at this course (6f) last week. 8 lb higher now but respected in hat-trick bid.
Happy Henry (IRE)
Improved model this year, winning handicaps at Navan in June and at Bellewstown in July. Back in usual headgear and ran creditably when third of 6 at latter track (5f, soft) on Wednesday.
Inishmot Prince (IRE)
Took advantage of reduced mark when recording a tenth success at this course in January. Ran below form after 6 months off at Laytown recently but may just have needed the outing. One to look out for with his usual visor quickly reapplied.
One Cool Bear (IRE)
Long-standing maiden. Only beaten 3¾ lengths at Navan (5f) last month. Dropped 3 lb on the back of a similar effort at Fairyhouse last time and sports a change of headgear back down in class. Engaged 3.20 Bellewstown Thursday.
Bye Bye Now (IRE)
Made a winning handicap debut over C&D in March and backed that up with good in-frame efforts next 2 starts. Disappointed at Down Royal latest but remains low mileage. Returns from an 11-week absence.
Blue Anthem
A 3-time winner for George Boughey in 2025. Struggled initially for G. O'Leary but confirmed return to form dropped into a claimer for the first time when second of 10 at Laytown (6f) just over 3 weeks ago. Has moved yards since and a visor is quickly reapplied.
Optics (IRE)
Little show in 4 maidens. Needs to show significantly more now handicapping.
Phil's Dream (IRE)
Winner of a classified event at Wolverhampton in March. Struggled in turf handicaps at Naas since but back to form when fifth of 11 at former track (6f) last month. Needs to build on that here.
Subiaco (IRE)
Got off the mark on handicap debut over C&D in January but out of sorts when last seen in the summer. Has switched yards ahead of this return.
Another Nice'day (IRE)
Got off the mark from 6 lb out of the handicap in 10-runner event at Navan (5f) in July. Had an excuse when below that level at Naas next time and arrives in good order, fourth of 19 at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) most recently. Return to 5f a plus but questions to answer about the surface.
Top Biller
On long losing run and little show on both outings for new connections in recent weeks. Equipment left off.
Cleopatra Dream
Down the field all 4 starts, latest after 8 months off on handicap bow at Navan recently.
Hasiyna (IRE)
Multiple course winner who posted a solid effort when second of 14 back from a short break in February but has struggled for form since, including back from 5 months off at Naas recently. Should at least strip fitter for that here.
The Cosy Corner (IRE)
Well beaten all 5 starts and makes her all-weather debut.
