Timeform View

DEE'S FUNNY GIRL is the class act having been second in a Group 3 at Ascot in July and could well resume winning ways if bouncing back from a disappointing Deauville effort. Salt Lake is open to further improvement after winning at Naas 15 days ago and poses the main threat, while South Dakota showed an excellent attitude at Roscommon and could have more to offer.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Salt Lake is one who could suffer as a result: A strong early pace seems highly likely. Dee's Funny Girl could be suited if held up as expected.

Timeform Comments

Aachen (USA)
Shaped very well when third of 13 in a maiden at this track over 1m on debut in mid-August, finishing well. Takes a significant step up to listed class and drops in trip but is open to improvement for top connections.
Duidin (IRE)
Won last 2 minor events on all-weather, latterly at Kempton over 7f in June when travelling well and quickening clear. Needs progress upped in grade but looks an interesting recruit for a stable that does well with similar types.
Equus Victor (IRE)
Much improved when dead-heating in a 15-runner maiden over 7f at Gowran Park 31 days ago and that form is working out pretty well. Not without hope back on all-weather and upped in grade.
Joga Bonito
Thriving since being gelded and fitted with cheekpieces, off the mark at Galway in July and progressed again when second of 9 in a conditions race at Roscommon 32 days ago. Steps into listed company and makes all-weather debut with place claims if continuing his rise.
One Number (USA)
Won 1m maiden on all-weather at Lingfield in August but only seventh of 12 at listed level on turf at Kentucky Downs 23 days ago in first-time blinkers. Reverts to cheekpieces and drops in trip but needs more in this company.
Salt Lake (IRE)
Second on debut at the Curragh over this trip, beaten a short-head by a subsequent winner, then got off the mark in a maiden at Naas 15 days ago over 6f. Steps up to listed company and makes all-weather debut back at 7f with progress likely so could be a big threat.
South Dakota (IRE)
Fourth in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot in June and then produced best effort since when winning a conditions race at Roscommon in August, showing an excellent attitude to fend off the favourite. One to take seriously switched to all-weather and back up in grade.
Zoar (USA)
Won maiden at Naas in August but no progress when third of 5 in a conditions race at Cork over 6f 23 days ago. Now upped in grade for all-weather debut so needs to progress for this longer trip.
Dee's Funny Girl (IRE)
Strong claims on second in a Group 3 over 6f at Ascot in July on debut for this yard, but flopped as favourite when last of 6 in a Group 2 upped to this trip at Deauville in August, flashing her tail. Tongue strap worn that day now removed and she's the form pick if bouncing back.
Fighting Tears (IRE)
Won over 6f on debut at the Curragh in August before sixth of 10 in a listed race at Fairyhouse 11 days ago. Steps up to 7f for all-weather bow but likely to struggle again at this level.
Nicely (IRE)
Two-time winner over 6f, including in a conditions race at Chester in August. Creditable fourth of 8 at Kempton on all-weather debut in a Group 3 last month, keeping on, and she's not without hope back up to 7f.
