MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE and Mr Mcloughlan may battle this out for a pair of in-form yards, the former narrowly preferred on the pick of last season's efforts. Banderas appeals most of the remainder.

Timeform Comments

Moveit Like Minnie (IRE)
Had strong handicap form at the beginning of last season, notably his third behind Alexei at Ascot. Gained reward for his consistency in Class 3 event at Wincanton in March and can be forgiven subsequent end-of-season effort. Big player back in calmer waters, with yard in fine form of late.
Mr Mcloughlan
Successful 3 times in the early part of last season. Performed with credit in good-quality handicaps subsequently, doing a bit much early when beaten 7 lengths in the Swinton on final start for Jack Jones. Interesting with hood added/sights lowered by new yard (38% strike rate so far in 2026/7).
Banderas (IRE)
Strong-travelling type. Resumed progress over hurdles when winning a 2½m course handicap in May. Lost nothing in defeat on the Flat the following month. Still on a handy mark over hurdles, though this drop back in trip isn't certain to suit.
Double Digits
Runner-up both previous course starts, finishing ahead of Banderas/another next-time-out winner here in May. Conceded first run when 1¼-length second at Kelso later that month (solid form). Likely needs a career best to land a first handicap hurdle victory (yard's first runner in over 4 months).
Winds Of Winter (IRE)
Smooth-travelling mare who was thriving when successful over C&D last summer. Back in top form when narrowly denied a third Cartmel win in mid-July. Again contests a stronger contested than needed, however, should still be in the hunt if returning from 11 weeks away in similar heart.
Two Auld Pals (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in class in emphatic fashion when landing a second C&D victory (both on heavy) in May. Deserves credit for finishing close fourth off this mark under less testing conditions here subsequently. Could just be vulnerable in this grade following a recent pipe-opener on the Flat.
Kaikoura (FR)
Maiden who finished third in back-to-back handicaps at Wexford for J. P. Dempsey last summer. Shaped quite well when beaten 8½ lengths in a solid Market Rasen handicap on stable debut/return in July. Interesting if building on that following further 12 weeks away.
