Point winner who found some improvement to make a successful handicap hurdle debut in May 2025, showing a good attitude. Shaped well sent chasing when runner-up to a well-handicapped rival back at Bangor (2½m) on return last month and is open to improvement. Engaged 2.15 Southwell Thursday.
Kinbara Firstdraft (IRE)
Has shown little sign of a return to form following a breathing operation, most recently at Sedgefield on Tuesday (detached before sixth). Hopes pinned on first-time cheekpieces sparking a revival.
Jack Doyen (IRE)
Had been one to treat with caution but gained a third win from last 4 starts at Huntingdon (2½m, good) in May. Unseated his rider after 3 months off at Stratford in August and possibly still needed the outing back there (23f, good to firm) last month. Handicapper drops him 2 lb.
Illogical Logic (FR)
Went one better than he had on his final outing for Christian Williams to provide his owner with a second success in 11-runner handicap chase at Cartmel (21f, good) just under 5 weeks ago. Very well treated on his best form from 3 lb higher so could well follow up.
Blazing Court (IRE)
Winning chaser who belatedly proved he retains some ability on the back of a 2-day turnaround when beaten just a neck in 21f handicap at Cartmel in July. Well beaten back there the following month, however.
