INFRAAD found another chunk of improvement when keeping on well for success in the Melrose at York and, with further progress still to come, he is taken to land the hat-trick up in grade. He gets the vote ahead of Galiyan, who quickly got back on track in the St Leger last time, while Galilean Quality can also give another good account.

Galilean Quality (IRE)
Has continued to progress this season, making it 3 wins for the campaign when landing a C&D handicap in July. Not ideally placed when runner-up to Infraad in the Melrose at York and again ran well when second at Haydock last time. Can make his presence felt up in grade.
Galiyan
Chester maiden winner on second start and progressed again when mid-field in the Queen's Vase over C&D at the Royal Meeting. Good second in Group 3 at Newmarket next time, before leaving behind a lesser effort when fifth of 11 in the St Leger. Not taken lightly back down in grade.
Guildmaster (IRE)
Lingfield novice winner on debut and useful form in defeat this year, eighth of 19 in the King George V Stakes here (1½m) at the Royal Meeting. Gelded prior to a below-par effort at this course last time, but he could bounce back now up in trip and switched to a visor.
Infraad (IRE)
Has quickly made up into a smart performer this year, doubling his tally in 1½m handicap at Glorious Goodwood and suited by the extra distance when following up in the Melrose at York (1¾m). Can take this step up in grade in his stride with more still to offer.
Level Look
Has been suited by stepping up in trip on his last 2 outings (both 4-runner handicaps), getting back to winning ways at Wolverhampton (1¾m) and also scoring by a wide-margin at Southwell (16.5f) 15 days ago. Faces a tougher ask in this contest.
Gone By (IRE)
Runner-up first 2 starts before completing a simple task in a Ripon novice in June. Took another step forward with a determined success in 3-runner handicap at Salisbury (1½m), but ran poorly in listed race at Newmarket in August. Needs to get back on the up over this longer trip.
