Timeform View

A tight-knit handicap but GEMINI MAN is proving very reliable this season and can gain a deserved fourth success on the back of a good recent C&D second. Millbuie is still searching for a first victory but arrives in good nick and could emerge as the main danger ahead of recent C&D scorer Koko Blue and the handily-weighted We've Got This.

Timeform Comments

Koko Blue
Gained a deserved first win of the season in emphatic style over C&D 30 days ago. Hiked up 8 lb but this reliable filly can go well again.
We've Got This (IRE)
Best run this season when third at Thirsk (7f) in July but has twice failed to build on it in 1m handicaps at Doncaster and Redcar (first-time tongue tie) subsequently. Handily weighted if back on her A-game here though.
Jetpack Jimmy
Sent off 200/1 but took a step forward on his third start when third of 6 in maiden at Pontefract (1m, good to soft) 15 days ago. This step up in trip should suit now going into handicaps but others look better treated at these weights.
Daring Leader (IRE)
Capitalised on a falling mark when scoring at Pontefract (1m) in June. Not disgraced in refitted cheekpieces (retained) when fourth of 7 in handicap at Hamilton (1m, soft) 11 days ago. This C&D scorer is no forlorn hope.
Dinah Myte
Recorded a third career win at Leicester (1¼m) in September. Failed to stay when seventh of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (1¾m) 17 days ago. Not out of things now back down in trip.
Gemini Man (IRE)
Scored 3 times in the first half of 2026, including over C&D. Has continued to run well since too, posting a good second of 14 in handicap here a week ago. A player once more eased 1 lb.
Distinction (IRE)
A 3-time scorer (at up to 11f) in 2025. Winless this season and beat only 2 home in handicap at Pontefract (1¼m, good to soft) 15 days ago. More needed despite a falling mark.
Millbuie
Long-standing maiden but placed for the fifth time this season when second of 7 in handicap at Hamilton (1m, soft) 11 days ago. Ought to be thereabouts again.
Sovereign Bright
Continues to tumble in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage, failing to settle fitted with a hood on her last 2 runs at Ripon and Lingfield.
Rajawail
Is 0-30 and tried in different headgear when last of 14 in handicap over C&D a week ago. Cheekpieces are retried now.
