Timeform View

Preference is for IZZARI, who confirmed the promise of his previous couple of starts when winning in good style at Southwell last week. Unpenalised for that success, he gets the vote ahead of King Sharja who does have to carry a penalty for his recent victory at the same course. Jamaican Storm is also capable of getting involved.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In what has the makings of a muddling race with little obvious pace on, King Sharja's likely prominent position could be seen to good effect: With little obvious pace Jamaican Storm could be disadvantaged.

Timeform Comments

Jamaican Storm
Regular slow starter but has won twice here this year, the latest over 7f in July. Only narrowly denied at this course last time and can give another good account back up in trip, for all that he needs things to drop right.
Coramento
Successful 3 times here for David Thompson last year and, having rejoined this yard, made a winning return from 6 months off at this course (7f) in July. Ran well when fourth of 9 here last time, but more needed from current mark.
King Sharja
Is thriving at present, completing a hat-trick in September with success at Southwell 8 days ago. Always looked to be doing enough last time and he's not taken lightly under a penalty.
Izzari (GER)
From his falling mark, shaped encouragingly both starts in August before getting back to winning ways in 14-runner apprentice event at Southwell 6 days ago, travelling easily into contention. Escapes a penalty so looks to hold leading claims.
Relevant Range (IRE)
Successful twice in classified events in January, over C&D on the second occasion, and added to his tally in handicap at Doncaster in July. Has gone backwards since, though, last of 9 over this C&D on latest outing.
Beauty Generation (IRE)
Has had a tendency to start very slowly but gained a first success for this yard at Nottingham (1¼m) in July. Has backed that up in 2 outings since, runner-up over the same C&D the following month. Task is now to continue in the same form back down in trip.
