JEFE TRIUNFO capitalised on his falling mark under a good ride from Freddie Gordon last time. This could again pan out favourably and he may well up to defying a 5 lb rise. Aggagio is certainly well treated if putting it all together up in trip and he's feared most in a trappy race.

Timeform Comments

Glance Of Glory
Low-mileage 6-y-o who landed back-to-back victories at Worcester last autumn. Shaped as if back in form on return (had breathing operation in interim), finishing 14 lengths third behind subsequent winner at Uttoxeter (2½m). Should be thereabouts if building on that.
Mr Mcwhinny (IRE)
Thrived since joining current yard. Cruised clear to make it a hat-trick (fourth win from last 5 chase starts) in a small field at Newton Abbot (21f) last time. Reverts to hurdling for first time in 16 months in bid for a 4-timer and has a 4 lb lower mark to work with in this sphere.
Aggagio (FR)
Course winner who's without a hurdles win since March 2023. Wasn't disgraced when 10¼ lengths fourth here (2¼m) latest, albeit not settling/jumping well in first-time blinkers. Step up in trip should suit and he's fallen to an attractive mark if putting it all together.
Jefe Triunfo (FR)
Tumbled in the weights since finishing third in valuable novice final at Worcester last September. Capitalised when tackling 3m for first time with headgear on at Plumpton latest, scoring by 2½ lengths under a sound tactical ride. A 5 lb rise may not prove beyond him now back in the groove.
