DIVISION has raised his game appreciably this year, shaping well when just touched off in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville on his most recent outing and earns the vote to register a deserved success back down in grade. Prince of India capitalised on a drop in grade with a dominant performance at Newmarket 6 weeks ago and looks sure to go well again, while Hidden Force is a most intriguing runner having not been seen since finishing third in the Craven Stakes back in the spring.

Timeform Comments

Elmonjed (IRE)
Resumed his progress to some tune with his reappearance behind him quickly refitted with usual cheekpieces/tongue strap combination when landing Group 2 Minster Stakes at York in May, albeit with a big positional advantage. Caught further back than ideal in Group 3 at Deauville sole start since.
Completely Random
Won twice at Lingfield in January, including a listed race and just as good on turf this summer, runner-up in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot before finishing an unlucky fourth in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood. Seemed to find the extended 6f against him at Doncaster last time and can bounce back.
Diligent Harry
Won back-to-back listed races at Lingfield in February. Translated that form to turf with good in-frame efforts in the Abernant Stakes and the Minster Stakes and quickly bounced back from a lesser effort when third in Group 3 at Newbury (5f) a fortnight ago. This asks for a bit more, though.
James's Delight (IRE)
Won the Group 2 Greenlands at the Curragh last year and creditable third in that race and a Group 3 there this summer. Underperformed in the Sprint Cup at Haydock latest but shouldn't be underestimated back down in grade.
Jasour
Runner-up in a Doncaster listed race on reappearance in March. Solid efforts back at minor pattern level next 2 outings but more miss than hit since, acknowledging he can have a line put through his belated handicap debut run at Goodwood last time. Has had a breathing operation since.
Prince Of India (IRE)
Won 4 times over 6f/7f last year and back on the scoreboard down in grade with a dominant performance in 7-runner listed event at Newmarket (6f) 6 weeks ago. Must enter calculations back at a higher level.
Stratusnine (IRE)
Has developed into a smart handicapper, narrowly denied a double in the Stewards' Cup. Has finished sixth in 3 top-end handicaps since, including the Ayr Gold Cup (6f, heavy) latest and no surprise to see him give another good account on his first try in a Group 3.
Division
Completed hat-trick in listed company at York last October. Yet to win this season but has raised his game considerably, shaping well in going down narrowly in Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville (6.5f, good to firm) on most recent outing. Big player back down in grade.
Hidden Force
Frankel colt who made it 2 wins from as many starts on all-weather in 1m conditions event at Kempton in February. Seemed unsuited by the track switched to turf when third in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket (1m) when last seen in April and remains open to improvement back from a breathing operation.
Into The Sky (IRE)
Blitzed 12 rivals in 6.5f Newbury maiden on debut last summer and undone by inexperience in Group 2 Mill Reef 23 days later. Hasn't hit the same heights in 3 starts this year, though wasn't disgraced back sprinting after 11 weeks off when fourth in the Prix de Meautry at Deauville (6f) latest.
Sayidah Dariyan (IRE)
Returned to her smart best when second in Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood in July but wasn't in the same form when making only late gains at Kentucky Downs (6.5f, firm) last time. Bounce back required in first-time cheekpieces.
Fitzella
Group 3 winner as a juvenile but has proven difficult to place this season and looks up against it once more.
