Perhaps best to focus on the 3-y-os, with WID taken to build on her encouraging handicap debut in a big field at Glorious Goodwood. Siwa Oasis has had the form of his Leicester novice success boosted and is next on the list ahead of Andrew Balding's Magic Trip.

Deservedly got off the mark for the year at Sandown (1m) in July. Two more respectable efforts since, although he did display a high head carriage when fourth back at Sandown last time.
Nostrum
Smart earlier in his career but struggled for David O'Meara in 2025. More encouraging signs for current yard but beaten in a seller last time and may find this too competitive for his liking.
Vincent Rocks (IRE)
Posted good second at Kempton on final outing for Hugo Palmer in July and backed that up with creditable fifth at Newcastle (1m) on first run for new yard 3 weeks later. Not in same form back at Kempton and over this C&D since, though. Has something to prove for now.
Kalamunda
Dual C&D winner but 13 runs last win in 2024 and only seventh of 9 back here last time.
Wid (IRE)
Settled better than previously when opening her account in 6-runner novice at Carlisle (1m, firm) in July and backed it up with a promising fourth of 14 in 1m Glorious Goodwood handicap 19 days later, caught further back than ideal. One to keep on side.
Nakaaha
Proved better than ever when smooth-travelling winner at Bath in July. Confirmed that form at the second at Chepstow (1m) in August but well held on soft ground back there since.
Franschhoek
Built on debut promise in March when improving to get off the mark at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 5 months later. Disappointing when 7/4 for C&D handicap debut since but it remains very early days.
Magic Trip
Fairly useful gelding. Found it tough in his first 3 handicaps but more encouraging signs after a break when 5 lengths second of 6 at Sandown (1m, good to soft) 5 weeks ago.
Siwa Oasis (IRE)
Boasts some strong form and got off the mark with a defeat of Yordan (won both starts since) in novice at Leicester (7f, good to firm) in July. Should be up to making his presence felt from this opening mark.
Golden Pharaoh (IRE)
Sole win from 23 runs came at Ffos Las last autumn. Creditable third of 9 in 7f handicap here when last seen in March. Peak fitness has to be taken on trust after 6 months off.
Dovey Moon
Got off the mark for the season in 1m Salisbury handicap in May. Hasn't proved easy to catch right since but latest Leicester third respectable.
Camino Del Ray
Fitted with first-time cheekpieces and showed improved form to resume winning ways in 12-runner C&D handicap in March but has failed to reproduce that in 2 subsequent outings 4 months apart. A return to Southwell needs to spark a revival.
Wield
Fair maiden who ran his best race when second in a C&D handicap at the end of August. Not in the same form on turf at Doncaster since but could bounce back returned to all-weather.
