SATELLITE OF LOVE and Revels stand out on form here and Clive Cox's Minzaal colt edges the vote on the back of a fine clear second in a valuable sales event at Doncaster over Karl Burke's Mill Reef fourth. Both Thames Waterman and Myesme are less exposed and arrive on the back of impressive wins at Wolverhampton and Beverley respectively so shouldn't be underestimated in a cracking renewal of the Two-Year-Old Trophy.

Timeform Comments

Baddaddan (IRE)
Landed 6f novice at Nottingham in August. Form dipped after but right back on track in first-time blinkers (retained) with fourth of 13 in nursery at Ayr (6f, soft) 15 days ago. Plenty more required upped to listed company here.
Mind Those Steps
Opened his account in 6f Hamilton novice in May. Back to form of late since fitted with cheekpieces, going freely when fifth in nursery at Haydock (7f, soft) a week ago. This return to 6f should suit but he has plenty to find on form.
Revels
Debut winner of 7f Redcar maiden and doubled his tally on nursery debut at Glorious Goodwood (6f). Took his form up a level with an excellent fourth of 8 in Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury (6f, firm) 2 weeks ago. Holds very good claims.
Satellite Of Love (IRE)
Looked a good prospect when winning (over 6f) maiden at Windsor and novice at Newbury in summer. Well below par under much softer ground conditions at York (6f) after but greatly improved when a clear second of 17 in another valuable sales event at Doncaster (6.5f, good) last time. Big shout.
Stardom Glory (IRE)
Starspangledbanner colt gained a first win in 6f Chester maiden in June. Not at all discredited when sixth in Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York (7f) and valuable sales event at Doncaster (6.5f) since. More is needed in a first-time tongue tie.
Quillan (IRE)
Kodi Bear colt who landed 5f novices here and at Ripon in early summer. Well below that form in valuable sales event at York (6f) and nursery at Chester (5f) subsequently. This is a tough ask.
Elevating
Made it third time lucky in 5f maiden at Sandown in August. Has performed with credit when fourth in Newbury listed race (5f) and seventh in Salisbury Group 3 (6f) since. Needs a clear personal best here, however.
Myesme
Havana Grey filly made a promising start when beaten a neck in Ayr maiden and went one better in good style in 9-runner novice at Beverley (5f, good) 17 days ago. Open to further progress, and she shouldn't be taken lightly.
Rlasthope
Consistent sort who deservedly got off the mark in 6f maiden at Southwell in July. Posted a solid seventh of 18 on his nursery debut at York (6f, good) following month. Cheekpieces go on for first time with plenty more needed in this higher grade.
Thames Waterman
Rajasinghe colt made a winning debut in 5f Wolverhampton maiden in April. Returned from 5 months off (gelded) with impressive all-the-way victory in 6f novice there 18 days ago. His first turf start demands more but he's open to further improvement and can't be ruled out.
Too Many Spirits
Fair gelding who gained a first success in 6f Southwell maiden in July. Backed it up with a creditable fourth of 7 in 6f nursery there following month. Faces a stiff task in this company though.
Global Success (IRE)
Fair maiden. Made the frame for a fifth time with a solid fourth of 8 in nursery at Ayr (7f, soft) 15 days ago. This looks a tall order in this higher grade, though.
Cheeky Chesca (IRE)
Finally got off the mark in 6f nursery at Catterick in September. Not at her best when sixth of 10 in nursery over C&D (good to soft) 10 days ago. Has plenty to find on form.
