The improving LOUGHREA can take the step up into listed company in his stride and complete the 4-timer. The likeable Big Gossey looks set to add another positive effort at this track to his record and can pose the biggest threat ahead of Carolina Jetstream.

Timeform Comments

Big Gossey (IRE)
Remarkable course specialist with 10 wins here including 4 over C&D. Pulled clear with an improving 3-y-o when ¾-length second in the 7-runner Renaissance Stakes at this course (6f, heavy, 12/1) 7 days ago. Leading claims with tongue strap back on.
Dmaniac
Dual 6f winner here, the latest in March. Stepped up on his return from a 4-month break when fourth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (good to soft) 8 days ago but likely needs more again to make the breakthrough at this level.
King Cuan
Went close in a 6f Group 3 here last season and stepped up on his return when 2 lengths fourth of 15 to Mission Central in listed race at Naas (5f, good), Off another 160 days since but he's a player at this level if fully tuned up.
Loughrea (IRE)
Improving sort who got off the mark at the third time of asking in a 1m Curragh maiden in June. Has since completed the hat-trick with a pair of stylish handicap wins over that trip at Leoparstown and this course. Drop to 7f certain to suit given strong-travelling style and he can improve again.
Wannabe Royal (IRE)
Narrow winner of a listed race at Naas in May but hasn't been able to land a serious blow in Group 3 company on her last 3 outings and this looks a good race for the level.
Lewis Carroll (IRE)
Siyouni colt was much improved from his debut when landing 13-runner maiden over C&D (heavy) in March. Not ideally placed on the wing but improved after a 6-month break when fourth of 9 in a C&D minor event last week. Can improve further but this is a much tougher ask.
Sindagan (IRE)
Won 14-runner maiden at Galway (7f, good to soft) in July and before a respectable sixth of 11 to Suzie Songs in listed race at Cork the following month. Resumed progress with a fast-finishing third of 17 in handicap at Leopardstown (7f) 22 days ago and he looks worth his place at this level.
Unauthorized (IRE)
Looked on the up when doubling his tally in 6f handicap at Listowel in May and resumed his progress after a 3-month break when a good second of 9 in minor event (14/1) at this C&D (good to soft) 8 days ago. Hood worn there is retained but will likely need more again to land a blow here.
Carolina Jetstream
Runner-up in a 1m Group 2 here in May (66/1) and ran to a similar level when filling the same position in a listed event at Killarney in August. Out of her depth in the Matron Stakes last time but should prove competitive back in this grade.
Princess Child (FR)
Dual winner in August last year, including a Tipperary Group 3. All the better for return when second at the Curragh (1m) in April but below par more recently and others remain more persuasive.
