Any more rain wouldn't go amiss but it's not a necessity for last year's winner CARLA RIDGE who stands out on the ratings. Dancing Saxon has been consistent this season and should give another good account, with Royal Bay Cen is another who can be in the mix providing this doesn't come too soon after her run last week.

Timeform Comments

Likedbymike (IRE)
Useful filly. Made the most of a good opportunity when doubling her career tally in a minor event at Naas and followed up in 8-runner listed race at Cork (5f, good to soft, 11/4) 35 days ago by ¾ length from Erosandpsyche. This is tougher under a penalty.
Pivotal Attack
Made it 2 from 2 at Galway when winning 7f listed race in July but has been found out upped in grade over longer trips on both starts since. Drops back to 6f for the first time since her debut.
Royal Bay Cen (IRE)
Ex-French filly who went especially well fresh when winning a listed race impressively on stable debut at Cork on heavy going in May. Made frame in 2 Group 3 races since, latest after 4 months off in Renaissance Stakes over C&D last week. Each-way claims.
Carla Ridge (IRE)
Took her form to another level when bolting up on the softest ground she's encountered in this corresponding event on final 2025 start. Better than distance beaten suggests in Cornelscourt Stakes at Leopardstown on return in May having met some trouble. May prefer more rain but sets the standard.
Fregada (IRE)
Useful sort who made frame in listed company over this trip last 2 starts, including when third to Soul Love at Naas when last seen in July. She's a C&D winner but this demands a lot more.
Gazelle D'or (IRE)
Won a trio of handicaps at this venue last season and showed improved form when runner-up to subsequent Group 1 winner in 5f listed race at Naas in May. Hasn't reproduced that effort in 3 starts since and can only be watched here.
Greydreambeliever (IRE)
Ran creditably on several occasions this season before capitalising on the drop in grade to belatedly double her tally in 8-runner minor event at Gowran (7f, soft) 15 days ago by 7 lengths to City House. Can give her running again.
Staysound Susie (IRE)
Useful mare who has a good record in the mud, including scoring in a C&D handicap in April. Hasn't cut much ice in 2 races since returning from a break in September. May not get the conditions to suit.
Treasure Rose (IRE)
Recorded back-to-back handicap wins at Down Royal and Fairyhouse this summer and wasn't discredited up in grade when staying on for fifth in listed race at Naas before finding it tougher next 2 starts. Ran respectably in handicap company last time but likely to find this harder.
Dancing Saxon (IRE)
Much improved this year, winning minor events on first 2 outings before a close second in listed event at Naas in July. Scored cosily back in a handicap at Galway 5 days later and made the places in pattern company both starts since. Needs to eke out some further improvement but has to be respected.
Do For Love (IRE)
Won 1m polytrack maiden at Chantilly in February for Christopher Head. Possibly needed run for new yard when seventh of 8 in minor event at Killarney (1m, good, 66/1) in August. Blinkers go on and hard to make a case for up in grade over 6f.
Focaccia (IRE)
Been kept busy since making her debut at the beginning of the season, winning a Bellewstown maiden in July and excelling herself when third in listed race at Cork the following month. Failed to repeat that at Ayr last time and others preferred.
Institute (IRE)
Very well bred filly who finally opened her account at the seventh attempt in 12-runner maiden at Dundalk by 2½ lengths from Grande Cuvee in August. Has a bit to find on form.
Luna Mia
Dual 6f winner last season (awarded first of those). Failed to make much impact in 2 starts this season just a week apart back in July. Has left M. D. O'Callaghan for 65,000 gns and faces a stiff task in this grade.
Space Bear (IRE)
Formerly a free-goer who has reacted really well to forcing tactics of late to land handicaps at Windsor and Yarmouth on last 2 starts. More needed in this higher grade but she can't be disregarded in current form.
Spinning Around (IRE)
Useful filly who won a 7f handicap at this course in May. Placed on last 2 starts, including when 2½ lengths third of 12 to Magny Cours in Fairy Bridge Stakes at Cork (7f, good to soft, 12/1) 5 weeks ago, with Dancing Saxon second. Drops to sprinting for the first time and has place claims again.
Thenandnow (IRE)
Fairly useful filly who opened her account in a heavy-ground C&D maiden in April. Had been posting some solid efforts in handicaps over the summer but can have her last run excused. The cheekpieces go on though faces a stiff task.
