STONEYFORD LADY looked a big threat when unseating her rider at Ballinrobe last month so Henry de Bromhead's mare gets the nod to make amends provided she's none the worse from that spill. Kilbrin Rocco shaped well from his lower hurdling mark at Listowel recently and if translating that form back to chasing, he looks a big threat with Jack Kennedy booked. The frustrating Presenting Lad looks best of the rest.

Timeform Comments

Bythesametoken (IRE)
Veteran who shaped as if returned in good heart when fourth of 11 at Galway in August but got no further than the first bidding for a second successive success at Listowel (2¼m, good) a fortnight ago.
Beauforts Storm (IRE)
Best effort over fences when runner-up in mares' maiden at Tramore (2m) in May. Hasn't kicked on from that effort since, though can have a line put through her run in first-time cheekpieces at Roscommon 6 days ago (saddle slipped badly after sixth).
Kilbrin Rocco (IRE)
Dual winner over fences last season, including at Tramore in April. Shaped well from his lower hurdling mark when second of 13 at Listowel (2m, good to soft) 10 days ago and claims if translating that back over the larger obstacles. Booking of Kennedy signals intent.
Ballybrittas (IRE)
Improved to open his account over fences at Wexford (2m) in late-July. Unable to confirm that form with Lady Doyanne when 4 lengths third there next time and ran one of his lesser races at Ballinrobe just over 3 weeks ago. First-time headgear goes on.
Cahirdown Boy (IRE)
Veteran who hasn't won for over 2 years and has failed to complete on both outings in recent months (unseated rider first latest). His jumping issues mean others are more appealing.
Claude (IRE)
Wexford maiden hurdle winner for Joseph O'Brien last summer. Hasn't fully fired for current connections but did run close to his recent hurdles form sent chasing when fourth of 16 in handicap chase at Ballinrobe (17f, good) just over 3 weeks ago.
Presenting Lad (IRE)
Without a win in nearly 2 years and offered a clue as to why in first-time blinkers when second of 6 at Downpatrick (2¼m, good) just under 5 weeks ago, looming up to the long-time leader on the run-in only to empty in the final 100 yds. Will probably find a couple too good.
Chosen Shant (IRE)
Both hurdles wins at Wexford and has scored in 2 handicap chases there this season, the latest over 19f in August. Probably remained in form when third of 10 at Roscommon (2¾m, good to soft) 6 days ago and should give another decent account.
Party President (IRE)
Won first 2 starts in handicap hurdles in spring 2025 but patchy record since, including over fences. Has switched yards (for £5,000) since last seen finishing tailed off on both outings at the Galway Festival (over hurdles most recently).
Stoneyford Lady (IRE)
Made her second chase start a winning one at Thurles last November. In similar heart of late, poised for a third in-frame finish on the bounce when unseating (going as well as any at the time) at Ballinrobe (17f, good) latest. Capable of running a big race if none the worse.
