Timeform View

REBEL REBA has a stamina-laden pedigree, represents a top yard and is taken to build on her point success now hurdling. Well Bud was placed twice in bumpers and could prove the main danger, with the booking of Jack Kennedy catching the eye, while Airds Moss is also respected.

Timeform Comments

Airds Moss (IRE)
Promising individual. Won a bumper at Killarney in May and followed that with 2 in-frame efforts in maiden hurdles, 10¾ lengths fourth of 15 to Emerald Enigma at Navan on latest. Remains with potential.
Its Time For A Run (IRE)
Proved a totally different proposition for current yard when winning a Downpatrick bumper in July and then stepped up on previous hurdling efforts when fourth of 20 behind Firebrand in maiden at Galway last month. Open to further progress in this sphere.
Coppernpex (IRE)
Shirocco gelding. Dam (c96/h98), 2¾m-25f hurdle/chase winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 3¼m) Earth King (by Shirocco). Is likely to need time and distance.
Gunnery Sergeant (FR)
Runner-up in maiden hurdles at Fairyhouse and Downpatrick last spring. Sets the standard on those performances but hasn't kicked on or come close to reproducing those efforts since either in this sphere or over fences.
S T Hamo (IRE)
Modest form in bumpers, finishing in the frame twice. Makes hurdling debut with tongue tie left off.
Well Bud (IRE)
Failed to complete on either start in points and shaped as if in need of experience on hurdling debut but been placed twice in bumpers, including when 7½ lengths second of 11 to New Grange at Listowel last time. Will stay further than 2½m and Jack Kennedy is an eye-catching jockey booking.
Folk Warrior (IRE)
Maiden hurdler who posted his best effort when 7¼ lengths eighth of 13 to Convincing in 2m handicap at Kilbeggan in August. Failed to justify support back in this company next time and arrives on the back of a poor run on the level. Should be suited by the step up to 2½m.
Who's Going (IRE)
First form when fourth of 16 in maiden at Roscommon (2½m, good to soft) in August but will need to step up again to get involved here.
Mary O'g (FR)
Much better effort in bumpers when third of 9 at Cork in January. Makes hurdling debut after 7 months off.
Rebel Reba (IRE)
Sister to poor hurdler Boolamore Classic (21f winner), stays 3m, and half-sister to useful 23f/3¼m hurdle winner Big Shark (by Vinnie Roe). Winning pointer a year ago. Switches to hurdles on debut for Willie Mullins and looks very interesting.
Risen Tide (IRE)
Third of 4 finishers on completed start in points. Wears tongue tie.
Say It Straight (IRE)
€20,000 3-y-o. By Harzand. Dam, little promise in bumper/over hurdles, closely related to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Quid Pro Quo and half-sister to useful multiple bumper winner/fairly useful 2m hurdle winner Gypsy Island. Represents top yard.
Booklight (IRE)
Fair maiden at up to 1½m on the Flat, but is related to the smart hurdler Thomas Hobson and winning hurdler/chaser Fearless. Wears first-time hood on hurdling debut.
