JOE COOL ran to a fairly useful level when finishing runner-up in a couple of Flat maidens back in the spring and having found things happening too quickly over 7f at Laytown last month, Noel Meade's 4-y-o is put forward as the answer sporting first-time headgear. Blue Nasturtium hasn't gone on from a promising debut but she's feared most, with Ballybawn Belter seemingly best of the rest.

Went close over hurdles at Limerick last October. Looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind judged on Flat exploits this summer and easy to put a line through his Cork maiden hurdle effort last time. First-time tongue tie on. Engaged 2.10 here Sunday.
Guitar Star (IRE)
Sea The Stars gelding who showed nothing when pulled up in bumper at Downpatrick (2¼m, soft) debut 17 days ago. First-time tongue strap on.
Joe Cool (IRE)
Posted fairly useful efforts when runner-up in Flat maidens at the Curragh and Bellewstown this spring. Made a successful hurdling debut at Ballinrobe in May but has posted 3 lesser efforts back on the Flat since. A bounce back is needed but every chance that can happen.
Navy Guitar (IRE)
Just modest form over hurdles/on chasing debut for Adrian Murray but ran to a seemingly fair level on Flat bow for new connections at Gowran (1¾m) last month (aided by having the run of the race). Similar form dropped back markedly in trip at Dundalk since.
Ballybawn Belter (IRE)
Useful hurdler/chaser who made an encouraging start on the Flat when second of 13 at Gowran (1¾m, good to soft) last month. Not so good at Listowel later that month (finished with running left despite being considerately handled) and handicaps could be where she flourishes.
Blue Nasturtium (IRE)
Best effort in maidens when fourth of 10 at Tramore (1½m, good) on debut. Not living up to her pedigree but she could well figure in this.
Enchanted Lady
Fair maiden who has had excuses the last twice, most recently when badly hampered at Down Royal (10.7f, good) last month. Cheekpieces discarded.
Nogs (IRE)
Success Days filly. Half-sister to 6f winner Knightfire. Dam, 7f-1½m winner, half-sister to useful winner up to 1¾m Blue Corrig. Likely outsider on debut.
Shemiyka (IRE)
Showed improved form when third of 16 in maiden at Galway (1½m, soft) on return in July. Fourth in Sligo claimer just 5 days later but ran poorly back in maiden company at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) 5 weeks ago. Needs to get back on track.
Tears I Nevercried (IRE)
Failed to improve for the longer trip when well held in a maiden at Roscommon (1½m) second time up back in May. Has since switched yards for just 1,400 gns.
